Pros:

She staff since samuel in reception he’ s very polite ,gentle , professional . One night i feel hungry i asked him to show me restaurant close to hotel he show me one and he go with do not keep me alone it was cold but i forgot my jacket in hotel .he went with me till i reach restaurant it was far like may be 500m and he go back hotel in few mint i was eating my dinner i see samual front of me in table with jacket he bring me jacket from hotel and he came back to me he give me jacket and leave. He’s the best there other staff they was good also but samual the best

Pros:

I booked my reservation and made it into town about 12:43 AM. I asked if I could check in early and was told no which was a first for me because I normally stay at the Hilton and wherever I get into town that late they always welcome me in. I tried to cancel the reservation because I was able to secure another place to stay so I called and spoke with the manager who lied and said I needed to refer to booking.com for my refund which was false information. I called back and she had one of her employees answer the phone and put me on hold. I was on hold for about half an hour before I hung up.

Fabulous.
Pros:

The location is so fun! Walkable restaurants, parks, stores, gyms, and U Chicago. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect stay when visiting UChicago
Pros:

A perfect spot to stay while visiting University of Chicago. The location was perfect -- we walked to and from both days, enjoying the neighborhood and parks along the way. The artwork in the Sophy is bar none -- my son is an artist and that made the stay even more special. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the front desk team were engaging and made us feel welcomed. Will be our go-to when visiting campus!

Very disappointed
Pros:

Tried to check in early they told me I could check in at 2 . Got to the hotel at 2:15 said rooms weren’t ready come back at 3 which is my regular check in time. Got to the hotel a little after 3 and rooms still aren’t ready and I hear them telling people the key card machine is down so they can’t give them key cards.

Don’t stay at the hotel poor service
Pros:

Not very accommodating. Had an emergency which cause me to stay at a hotel for a night or two. Since they were close I chose this hotel I’ve had dinner there before and drinks at the bar which I enjoyed but my experience at the hotel side is I won’t have to come back. Rooms look great staff and customer service not no much. I stick to a drink at the bar.

Will most likely stay here again when visiting.
Pros:

Decor was classy. Location was close to where we wanted to be. Rooms were spacious and quiet.

Cons:

Convenience fee seemed high for what you got. Most hotels would include in their nightly rate so it makes it more difficult to compare.

Terrific food, rooms, staff but no parking is a big problem
Pros:

The hotel is great, food is exceptional, and the service is finally up to par (has been abysmal in prior years). But beware - not having a parking garage available is a major hassle, especially during busy weekends
