到各步道都很近，雙人山景套房有含浴室使用方便但無乾濕分離，戶外和餐廳各有提供一台飲水機使用，但走到靠近最外側的公厠時一直有聞到臭味。

老闆很和氣菜色也很豐盛但不知是哪一道菜出了問題害我跟朋友一晚上拉肚子4次真是美中不足的地方房型跟在網路上看到的也不一樣有點兒失望不過風景真的一級棒看到了嚮往中的雲海大景

造訪觀霧遊憩區的不二選擇
Pros:

整修後外包經營的觀霧山莊是造訪觀霧遊憩區的不二選擇。住房舒適、清潔，早晚餐更是水準之上，比其他森林遊樂區的餐食精緻。總體性價比相當，又是唯一在國家公園內的食宿，值得給個讚。唯一缺點是雅房 (無衛浴房型)，是 5 間房共用二套衛浴，雖不至於常要等候，但二套衛浴同在走廊盡頭，隔音不足，第一個房間鄰近衛浴，水聲、吹風機聲接二連三，早起的、晚睡的其他房客用衛浴時，難免要造成第一、二間房客的困擾。
