Great location, friendly staff, lean and tidy room.

Fantastic location. Comfortable rooms.
My room window was level to a roof which im assuming was above the restaurant. The roof was being power washed on check in so I had to shut the curtains during the day. I understand things like this need done but I couldn’t comfortably sit as the two guys were right outside my window. Felt a bit off putting when I’d just checked in.
Had a really pleasant stay here at The Flint Hotel. The staff at the reception desk concierge went above and beyond to make suggestions for where to go, hand-writing me a local list of iconic pubs, attractions, food places which I managed to cross off. They booked the cab tour and arranged my taxi for me when leaving. I also appreciated the checkup room phonecall 15mins adter I checked in to make sure everything was fine with my room. The staff are a true asset to this hotel.
The only thing I can think of was as my room was on the top floor it got warm fast, and the Aircon unit was slightly noisy on low power to sleep at night but thats not something that detracts from the place. I would book back there again in future.

Centrally located hotel. Good size room with small kitchen which made for a more convenient stay.
No mention in hotel information before booking that quilt and pillows would be feather. This can be a problem for people with allergies. This should be made clear, so that alternatives could be requested.

The self check in idea is annoying and cumbersome, eliminating staff and personal interaction.
Room was lovely and quiet hotel - bar is a great help not having to travel far!
The payment for parking we thought was validated how ever when we got to the car park we had to pay which was a shock - would have been nice to have been told what we would owe
