am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my recent reservation (Booking Reference: # 5326929224) and the handling of my case by your customer support team.
I booked a three-night stay but needed to depart after the second night. Prior to checking out, I contacted Booking.com customer service to confirm whether I could avoid being charged for the third night. I was explicitly advised that I could proceed with checkout, that the charge would be adjusted to two nights, and that Booking.com would coordinate directly with the hotel so I would not be charged for the 3rd night.
Relying on this guidance, I checked out accordingly. Despite this, the hotel charged me for all three nights and later informed me that the adjustment window had passed. As a result, I was charged for a night I was specifically told by you that I would not be billed.
I have spent considerable time—across multiple phone calls and email exchanges—attempting to resolve an issue that arose solely from following instructions provided by Booking.com. Unfortunately, this has not yet led to a satisfactory resolution.
Given that I acted in good faith based on the assurances provided by your customer service team, I am requesting an appropriate compensation or account credit in recognition of the damage, time and inconvenience caused by this matter.
I trust that Booking.com will review this situation carefully and resolve it fairly. Please confirm receipt of this email and advise on the next steps.

That should be around $150. They charge $350, they gave me a really bad room with a lot of wear and tear.
Looks like this room has been through a lot.
Floors are in bad shape.
Bathroom ceilings in bad shape.

Location
The rooms are unkempt and the cleaning staff is hardly attentive. The connecting door lets you clearly hear your neighbours next door speaking which is very annoying. Furthermore, from our room on the 11th floor you can hear a loud car passing by. The glass on the balcony doesn’t offer any soundproofing.
