Superfijn verblijf gehad. De eigenaar staat altijd voor je klaar en doet echt zijn best om het verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken!

Fazly is a wonderful host. His English is exceptional, having lived and worked in the UK for many years. He is an excellent source of information, advice, and has great connections to assist with both your stay in Kandy as well as your journey there and beyond. The room was clean and very comfortable, and the location is fairly quiet. Breakfast is delicious and served on the cool balcony in the morning, overlooking the city.

The host Fazly was so helpful and reliable! When I first booked this place, I was planning to do the train from Ella to Ambewella and then wasn't sure yet how I'd go from Ambewella to Kandy. As the day for our Kandy stay approached, Fazly proactively reached out on WhatsApp and asked if we needed a driver. He gave a detailed message of some worthwhile stops on the way that the driver could take us to, and with a really reasonable price. We agreed to this, and actually really ended up enjoying that whole drive up. The Ramboda waterfall especially was really special - I actually liked it more than the Ravana waterfall in Ella.

When we arrived we were surprised at how well-kept and clean and spacious it all was, since Kandy itself can feel cluttered and cramped. We were also surprised at Fazly's English (it turned out he lived in England for years). He's a very keen listener, with great recommendations on what to do and what to eat. We were recovering from some food-poisoning so he had great tips on safe food to eat, and would explain in detail all the measures they themselves take to make sure we're provided clean food and water (e.g. his filtered water comes from a European machine, and his ice-cubes are made with the same filtered water). He also offered some really effective tonic for the stomach. He set us up with tuk-tuks into the city, and coordinated our return as well. His place has a luggage-elevator too, which was really convenient. He even helped us with our laundry! Then he coordinated our taxi to Dambulla the next day, again at a great price.

Our room was on the highest level, and connected to a terrace with an amazing view of the city - the sunset would've been amazing I'm sure, but we chose to go to the Temple of Tooth instead at that time so we missed it. The room was spacious and clean, and there was a common area shared with the other rooms on the same floor which made the whole floor feel like a spacious home.

Prachtig uitzicht over de stad. Lekker huisgemaakt ontbijt. Heel propere mooie kamer met alle faciliteiten. Super vriendelijke eigenaar die je advies geeft over de te bezichtigen dingen in de buurt. Je kan bij hem met al je vragen terecht, ook voor een leuke babbel. Zeker een aanrader!

j'ai beaucoup aimé avoir la cuisine et un frigo à disposition, quand on voyage seule c'est très appréciable de pouvoir se faire un snack ou des fruits. J'ai aimé la taille des espaces communs très aérée, la qualité de la chambre

We only stayed 1 night in Kandy but when we arrived at Feel Home we wish we could've stayed a few more! The room is very spacious and well equipped, beds are comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The view from the balcony was stunning. Fazly is a great host, he provided us with really good recommendations on things to do in Kandy and places to eat. Thanks again for a great stay and for anyone thinking about booking, do it!

Wat een geweldige plek! Onderweg naar Kandy was het veel schakelen met onze tuktuk en wat een drukte. Eenmaal boven bij Feel Home was het net alsof je boven de stad zweefde. Het uitzicht is prachtig en toch ben je zo in de stad. Fazly is een hele aardige man en heeft prachtige verhalen over zijn start van zijn lodge tot nu. Hij is heel open en eerlijk, geeft goed advies. Dat is wat je precies nodig hebt. Het ontbijt is ook erg lekker en precies genoeg.

I don’t think would’ve enjoyed my time in Kandy nearly as much if I stayed somewhere else. The host was very helpful and gave me a lot of good recommendations for the immediate area and the next leg of my trip. The view is incredible from the terrace. The room was huge and spotless.

Fazly ist unfassbar gastfreundlich und tut alles dafür, das wir einen tollen Aufenthalt haben und erfüllt alle Wünsche.
Wir haben viele Tipps von ihm bekommen und er hat sich um alles gekümmert, sodass wir unseren Urlaub in vollsten Zügen genießen konnten.

Sehr entspannte und saubere Unterkunft. Frühstück war sehr lecker und es wurde ein Tuk tuk in die Stadt organisiert. Host sehr freundlich.

Das Beste an der Unterkunft ist Fazly, der Besitzer
, der sich um alles kümmert und so den Aufenthalt in Kandy sehr angenehm gestaltet. Aber auch die Zimmer und der Gemeinschaftsraum sind sehr geräumig und sauber, gute Betten, Wasserfilter, damit Plastikwasserflaschen vermieden werden. Das Sri Lankesische Frühstück! ( zur Auswahl gibt es aber auch ein europäisches ) ist ausgezeichnet!
Die Lage etwas außerhalb ist sehr erholsam, und mit einem Tuk tuk ( da kümmert sich auch der Besitzer) ist man ganz schnell in der Stadt oder bei den Sehenwürdigkeiten. Nur zur empfehlen!

Fazly is de eigenaar en zo ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. Hij spreekt ontzettend goed Engels en maakt je wegwijs in de do’s en doent’s in Sri Lanka.
Daarbij een heerlijke ruime gezamenlijke zitkamer en je eigen slaapkamer met een prima bed en lekker warm water uit de douche. En…hele goede koffie. ☺️

The view is amazing, host is friendly and knowledgeable and will help you with any questions you have, room is clean and spacy, bed is long (which is not always the case in SL). Happy we could fill our water bottles instead of buying. We had breakfast on the terrace which was really nice

Hôte très accueillant et donne de très bons conseils. Emplacement loin du centre ville et du bruit. Chambre spacieuse et délicieux petit-déj !

Aan de rand van Kandy, hoger gelegen, waardoor de temperatuur aangenaam was. Geen airco nodig gehad. Mooi uitzicht vanaf het grote terras. De kamer was schoon, ruim, niets ontbrak.
Fasly heeft ons enorm geholpen toen onze brandstof op was van de Tuktuk en er vrijwel nergens wat te krijgen was. ( midden oosten oorlog)
Hij had ons tips, regelde snel een Tuktuk taxi. Het ontbijt was lekker en werd op het terras buiten geserveerd. Er is een gezamenlijke grote ruimte ( voor drie kamers) met keuken erbij.

A quiet location in a busy city, as the name suggests, we immediately felt at home. The accommodation is generous, unfussy and well appointed. The terrace has views to die for!
Fazly is the perfect host, good company and very informative, always available.
We enjoyed our stay!

Der Gastgeber ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich war nur eine Nacht da, aber er hat mir ein tolles lokales Restaurant, den Tuktuk organisiert und zu sehr fairen Preisen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, schönes Bad und alles sehr sauber.
