Value for money. Excellent food, be mindful that the portion sizes are generous, although this was very welcome after a long day walking the coast path.
We stayed two nights and the mattress was hard. I asked housekeeping if they could put a topper on and they kindly obliged. Plus extra soft pillows. Thank you.
Unfortunately the Old Kings Arms was the only place to eat. There seemed to be no other options in the area to try other restaurants.

A lovely Hotel with fabulous staff who are very friendly, hospitable, welcoming, and so helpful. Very comfortable, spacious, quiet en-suite room. Great location, just a few minutes stroll from the Castle, river, riverbank walk, shops and pubs in a lovely Town. A choice of delicious well kept real ales in the comfortable bar/lounge. There's a warren of beautifully maintained old historic sitting rooms/lounge areas throughout the Hotel, and a lovely patio to relax in the sunshine too, with umbrellas if you prefer shade. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to try the food. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely like to visit again. Highly recommended. Excellent staff
Breakfast was served until 9am, a little early for us. Until 10am would suit us better, but it’s just our preference, and it doesn't change our opinion of this fabulous Hotel
Lovely breakfast.
Pembroke itself is a little tired and apart from views of the castle doesn't have much to offer!
