Very central, lovely hotel of a modern design, clean, comfortable and close to a beautiful park.
Pros:

The room was very big and of a very unusual modern design, as was the whole building. We also had a large balcony. The room was clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately there are no coffe making facilities in the room, but you can go to reception and they will make you a delicious cup of coffee. Staff were very helpfull and friendly. The hotel is in a great location very close to the beautifull Taichung park with its many squirrels and in walking distance (without luggage) to the bus and railway station. The latter is very handy in order to get the bus for a trip to Sun Moon Lake. We very much enjoyed our stay. If only there would be the option of using a washing machine, which unfortunately there wasn't.

Beautiful property. Nice airy, natural light room.
Pros:

Room was beautiful. I loved to distressed concrete look, and also the free hot beverages were lovely and a super nice touch. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and clean environment.

Cons:

We booked a classic double, and travelled with a friend who had a smaller double (cheaper room). I was disappointed to learn she had a japanese toilet, and my room did not have a japanese toilet.

Plus the configuration of the bathroom, including the toilet made it difficult to use/move in. Neither my husband nor I could sit forward facing on the loo as our legs did not fit - we had to sit sideways. I am shorter than average height, at the very least I shouldn't have had this issue. Not only did it jute up against the shower, but there was a brick arrangement that shortened the space even further. I've never seen a toilet spacing so tight and not sure how it passed design review.

My friend's bathroom configuration was much better and she had plenty of room, this was disappointing for us as we had paid more for a worse bathroom experience and this materially impacted our stay.

Needed one or two more towel hooks for drying.

Also, we arrived with a car a few hours before check in but the free parking was only available from our check in time, this was disappointing to us but manageable, but we booked the place expecting that we would have been able to park our car on arrival.

Het hotel dat in een oud gebouw is gevestigd geeft aan dat recycling belangrijk is en daarbij dat het ook functioneel is.

Cons:

Ik ben het eens met duurzaamheid, maar geen waterkoker op de kamer vind ik wel onhandig. Water kan je halen op de gang.

Extraordinary building and stylish rooms. One of my favorite hotels!
Pros:

Special experience. The hotel is a funded architecture project which combines an old building structure with a new modern very relaxing atmosphere. Close to the park and very nice restaurants.

距離一中街滿近的，到市區百貨也不會很久！
附近也都有便利商店什麼的滿方便👍🏻

一開始到的時候櫃檯人員服務態度就沒有很好，然後住宿第一天早上旁邊在施工⋯
超級吵！住宿前也沒有告知、跟櫃檯反應也沒有任何補償，通常這樣不是應該要有什麼小賠償嗎？
覺得國旅費用水漲船高，但各方面水平好像沒有在成長
