Second Nature Southampton

Taliah recommended an excellent room, really great stay, all staff couldn’t help you enough . Room clean bright , loved our stay and would return the hotel gave off a good atmosphere. We were visiting Ocean village , a few minutes walk, the street behind hotel had pubs & restaurants, very convenient

Room was okay and had the hometel equipment as advertised which was very useful for getting my daughters meals ready, however, the WiFI service in the hotel was really poor, slow and sometimes just not available, which caused a lot of problems for our daughter’s emotional state. I would think this should be a basic service by all hotels but this hometel didn’t have this nailed down.

The TV was advertised as smart i.e you could cast your devices and watch your shows but between a WiFi that didn’t work and chrome cast all that didn’t work either, we could not watch TV throughout our 3night stay at the hotel, if this is a big part of entertainment for your family like ours, you might not like this part. We complained about this a few times but it wasn’t resolved

Aside the above, we had a good sleep, beds were comfortable and my daughter loved the loft bed.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and comfortable. I would 100% recommend staying here. We had 2 adults 1 child and a toddler and felt comfortable and at ease. The food was lovely too and allergy friendly with options.

Excellent location.

Grace made our stay very welcoming and was very helpful.with the booking as wanted to extend out stay by a day.

Great location near the port! The rooms were wonderful and came equipped with a small kitchen and AC! I appreciate that all the rooms had accessibility features. Good breakfast! Highly recommend!

We stayed here the night before our cruise from Southampton and couldn’t have chosen a better place. We originally booked when it was called room2, and although it’s now known as Second Nature, the excellent service certainly hasn’t changed.

The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and worked incredibly hard. It was impressive to see the same team covering both reception and the bar, yet they remained cheerful, professional, and happy to help throughout our stay.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The location is perfect for anyone cruising from Southampton, with the cruise terminal only about a 5-minute taxi ride away, costing around £7.50.

We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and friendly hotel before a cruise.

The decorations

A comfortable hotel. The breakfast was quite expensive, but tasty. I was disappointed that I wasn't provided with an invoice when i checked out, which meant I had to spend time emailing them.

Very nice hotel in a good location. Full kitchen in suite. Very large room with comfortable bed. Bar and food was very good. Close to port for cruises.

Perfect location, quiet space. Friendly and helpful staff. The room is well decorated and equipped with everything you need. Quiet and comfortable bar downstairs. I recommend it 100%

Good central location to town ,and we're able to accommodate us at very short notice for a 4 day stay.
