room2 Southampton Hometel

Had a one night stay here before our cruise trip to Norway. This is our first time in Southampton and we picked the right hotel, will definitely stay again. The rooms are clean, the decor is modern with a nice quirky edge. The breakfast was divine and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is right next to the cruise docks and you’re only a short walk away from some nice little parks and pubs.

Our stay at Room2 was a wonderful 2 night experience prior to our cruise. The location was ideal, with restaurants, old Southampton, and the pier all within minutes. The staff was very friendly and there to service your every need. Our room was spacious, and the bed and pillows were very comfy. We'll definitely stay here again if we sail out of Southampton. Location to restaurants and sea terminal. In house laundry. Real milk for tea making. Good pubs and pub food nearby.

Location and facilities are second to none.

The room was great with our family of 4.
The bar was perfect for a nightcap after watching Take That at St Marys stadium.
The breakfast that was included was great with a good selection.
Very close to the aviation museum and some great local restaurants.

Excellent location - walking distance to St Mary’s Stadium and the main shopping area

Very clean and tidy. Great facilities in the room. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. Plenty of room inside for 4 of us. Access to a bar/cafe within the building. There’s also lifts alongside stairs. Easy check in and out.

Room 2 is the best place.
The room is perfectly equipped with all we need if we need or want to cook. It is spacious and organized. The food at the restaurant was amazing with generous portions.

The hotel was so close to so much the city centre, lots of places to eat. 20 minute walk to the st Mary's stadium which we wanted. Rooms were comfortable spacious and clean

Had an overnight stay with my 2 children on 31st May. Was allocated a master loft room upon check in. Fernando who checked me in was incredibly helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. The room was fantastic, had everything we needed and was immaculately clean. I don’t normally stay in hotels with my children as we like a bit of extra space but the master loft room was spacious and I would happily stay here again for more than one night.

We stayed in a study room for one night and it was really nice and great amenities. You can get milk from the bar which is great as coffee/tea is supplied and if you wish to bring breakfast cereal you can use the milk for this also. Very comfortable bed and lovely shower/bathroom. Great location for the city centre but also from the station and football stadium.

Central location within easy walking distance of town centre. Rooms are extremely large, well specified. The breakfast is of a good quality but very small. The staff are all super friendly.

We travel and stay often and this was one of our nicer experiences and whenever we are in Southampton again we will definitely book Room 2. We love the concept of the Hometel. Fantastic idea.

The hotel has a very nice-looking aesthetic throughout. Finding a spot for the car was incredibly easy, as there is plenty of paid parking available in the surrounding area. Our room was a really good size with lots of space to relax. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious with great options. A special shout out to Fernando, who checked us in; he was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome right from the start. Highly recommended!
