The rooms were spacious, clean & well equipped. Whilst the hotels own car park was fully booked for our stay, there was ample street parking & an open car park within walking distance.
The beds were really comfortable & the room had a bright, spacious bathroom with powerful shower.
The view from our room, at the back of the hotel, was a bit grim & we could hear guests in another room on the corridor late at night so the soundproofing could be improved but these are minor issues that definitely would not prevent us staying again.
The staff were amazing, the beds were really comfortable, the breakfast was fantastic. The location was excellent, right in the middle of town, walking distance to restaurants and close to the new forest.

Loft lounge second bed on the mezzanine very hard as just a mattress on the floor.
Location is convenient and pretty quiet.
Staff need more training. The receptionist, who I called to say my internet wasn’t working, said it’s only me who has the issue to which I had to proceed downstairs to show her photos of the no internet connection. I told her I needed to urgently connect in order to attend an important conference call, to which she said I had to clear out my room to get the new room. When I rushed up and back down, she hadn’t even begun the process of the new room and was loudly saying the was being polite while being absolutely useless, slow and rude. THEN when I said she wasn’t being polite at all and was taking her time, she threatened to cancel my booking and I’d have to leave.
This person should never be in customer facing roles. Beyond the worst service I’ve had in the UK, easily.
The location is super.
Could have been cleaner. And little more choices for breakfast.
Good location for the gig. Liked the live music in the evening.
No hashbrowns on the breakfast and beans and spinach were both freezing cold.
Great location, fantastic accommodation
Cannot recommend highly enough. Fantastic location and every inch of the place is stylish. We will definitely be back.
