We had a wonderful stay at Room2 following a Cunard cruise. What stood out was the amazing service and kindness of staff. Room was very cute, impeccably clean, had all the amenities we needed and the restaurant was also great for breakfast.
Other than having to find somewhere to park late evening in an unknown city the hotel was fine.
No parking.
Served by Nicola at the restaurant for breakfast, she was very helpful and served with a smile. My kids have special dietary requirements she was very accommodating and made us feel welcome. Fodd was great as well.
Location was great, our music venue was just round the corner, with bars and restaurants easily walkable
I was put out by the need to take a deposit outside of the payment of the room. Felt like a car rental company and made me anxious about what 'issue' I'd be landed with on our exit.
Very spacious
Carpeted hallways are hard to move luggage about.
We stayed here the night before our cruise and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bunk bed tucked up high was such a cute feature, and my daughter loved having her own private little space.
The location was excellent, within walking distance of several restaurants and the mall. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay before a cruise.
This place is a hidden gem. The accommodations were excellent. We were a family of 4, had plenty of room, great view, stocked kitchen, and fabulous shower.
Fernando checked us in and he was fabulous. On top of being friendly, personable he made the best espresso martini.
Friendly and quiet place to stay .
Having a fridge / freezer in the apartment is great.
Talia in the reception was friendly and deserve a mention.
Great room and so centrally located. Rio, Tami, Brett, Justin, and Talia delivered a great breakfast experience. We would definitely stay here again.
Great staff, friendly and helpful especially Fernando and Nicola. Lovely room, perfect place to stay in Southampton. Highly recommended.
We chose this hotel for our pre-cruise stay and so happy we did! Prior to check in the communication was excellent, and the staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful! The room is very large – you could actually do an extended stay and be very comfortable. It’s like a little apartment - with a stove and dishwasher and fridge. A great size room with a comfortable couch, a very comfortable bed and a lovely bath. The location was perfect for a short taxi ride to the port. Check in and check out was super easy. We had breakfast in the café. It was fresh and delicious and the staff was very attentive. We would definitely stay there again should we have the occasion to visit Southampton!
Really delightful- breakfast was delicious and appreciated that it was located in a quieter part of the city centre. The rooms & amenities were fabulous as well.
Room2 on Queen's Terrace is the place to stay in Southampton. It is located near a park in a quiet area of the city. From the hostess, Nikola, who helped with restuarant recommendations and transportation to the cruise port, to the bartenders, Reece and Fernando, who serve up the best drinks, to the manager, Justine, who goes out of her way to make sure your needs are taken care of. They all made our group feel so welcomed. The atmosphere and vibe of the hotel is very relaxed. The rooms are meticulously clean and have so many amenities. The bed was very comfortable, great night's sleep! This hotel is what hospitality is all about. It's so nice to see hotels like this still exist, but it all comes down to the people that work here that make that happen, and they do an awesome job and it shows! It is worth every dollar/pound/euro!
Large rooms and great location-pre-cruise. Nice breakfast and very friendly, helpful staff!
