Villa Park Motel

The location was amazing. The location is central to where I needed to be. Between Orange and Villa Park.

Bath tub was in terrible condition, overall the room was very outdated and rusty. They seriously need to update the rooms.

It was nice, we went for a concert to the Honda stadium, it was great

As soon as I walked in I noticed the floor was dusty. Headboard on the bed was dusty. Toilet was running. The kitchen has a window that can be opened. No locks. Did not feel safe. Motel owner assured me that it was safe but regardless it should be able to lock and it did not have a lock.
The one thing that bothered me the most and I will never return to this hotel and I don't recommend it to anyone, when I got back to my room after dinner about 9pm, shortly after entering my room, the front desk (or owner) told me to go back to the office and he charged me $17 and change. When I asked why and what the charge was for, I could not understand his reason because of his broken English.
I have never had front desk ask me to go to the desk and then charge me for something, after already checking in and I don't even know what the charge is for. The add on Expedia is deceiving. I should of done my due diligence so it's my own fault.

Had a fantastic stay at the property, rooms were quiet & clean.

Overall, great experience, I was surprised that there was a kitchen. I thought it was a closet door it was a nice surprise

Light switch covers are scary
Nothing about this stay was pleasant. It was too late for me to leave so I slept on a towel on top of a dirty sheep as dirty bedspread
I did not shower.
I had to give them. $20 cash deposit
When I went to check out early no one was there at 8:30am
I tried contacting hotels.com to get one night of my $ back since this place is uninhabitable. No luck.

They ask you to pay $20 in cash as a deposit. They return it upon leaving. There’s no reason for it. This is a substandard hotel and property. The room charge was $109. That’s overpriced

my room had brokrn shower controls, no closet or mrans to hang clothd. yhe whole place was worn out. nothing like poctured

The place is in need of some serious upgrades. Did not compare to the pictures. Strong smell in the unit and dirty linens on the bed. Price was great and maybe you get what you pay for. Disappointed to say the least.

One of the only reasons I booked this hotel was because they advertised a EV charger on site. When I arrived, I didn’t see one and it wasn’t until after I had checked in that the front desk clerk notified me that it wasn’t working.
This hotel is a total dump! Very outdated, missing outlet and switch covers, and there is tons of mold in the tub/shower area.
I would not recommend this place to anyone!
