Pros:

We were made to wait 30 minutes after published check in time for the room to be made ready and even then the floors were wet and the sofa had food crumbs. We were not offered any benefit or compensation and the front desk staff seemed not to care.

Nice new building. Doesn’t seem to have air conditioning, was a little warm. Probably not typical a problem in Iceland. Staff very nice and very accommodating.

Pros:

This was our favorite stay during our Ring Road trip!! The staff was so friendly and the room was great. Large, designed well, and very comfortable. We had a beautiful balcony that we got to enjoy watching the midnight sunsets. This was a super convenient spot and we would definitely stay here again.

There was a problem with the plum king that emitted an unpleasant odour. We were switched to another room. Hopefully the problem will be fixed in the future.

Clean modern hotel but family room very small
Pros:

Family room was very small for two adults and two children. No fridge and more importantly no hooks to hang coats, towels or anything on and only two drawers (1 obstructed by bunk bed ladder) for clothes for 4 people. We lived out of our back packs.

The major issue was the top bunk bed. It was at least 5ft 6 inches from the ground with no guard rail and nothing to stop the mattress moving. We wouldn’t let our 10yr old sleep on it so one of the parents had to instead.

Hotel clean and modern but concern over the sleeping arrangements ruined it for us. Accident waiting to happen.
