The location was great for a conference at the university with loads of places to eat
The dark decor is not my thing
The lighting and the shower alongside the amenities were perfect and so helpful.
The “king” bed was two beds put together. Made a rift in the middle. For what they charge they should have a decent king bed. The booking in person was claimed to be king bed even if it said twin but must have been two twins or similar put together. Disappointing - only think wrong but sadly played a factor
Very nice decor
Really aesthetic interior, friendly staff and clean rooms.
Remote for TV wasn’t working and no mini fridge, we thought within the price this would be a reasonable facility provided.
Perfect location, spacious rooms and welcoming staff. Bed was comfortable and lining was clean. It’s the perfect setting for anyone looking a night on the town but if for any reason you’re looking otherwise, this ain’t your place!
It seemed like our room and certain places were a tad neglected. Simple things like our shower head moving and handrails being loose. Seemed like the carpet could do with a refresh.
Property came across grubby, with stains on the carpets in our hotel room and on the hall/stairs. The doors and windows were dirty with hand prints all over them. We only booked for one night, the day before our arrival, with no cancellation, to then be informed there was a private party on until 10.30pm and there would be no restaurant or bar facilities available to us. The party was extremely noisy, with people shouting up the stairwell and people sitting everywhere. It really was very unpleasant for my husband and I and it made us feel very uneasy. The shower in the bathroom was trickling on and off. The hotel could do with a freshen up.
Very friendly staff and extremely helpful and friendly when we accidently left keys on property very positive experience.
The property was very central and clean.
Loved the bar area, breakfast was great value for money.
Easy access to the city for an overnight stay.
Reception - not very welcoming! Shutters need to go awful look!
Cups / teapot need a good bleach! Not clean at breakfast
The staff were lovely all very young but all very nice
The hotel was very convenient for myself and my grandson ordered taxis for easy travelling to museums etc Reception very shabby broken cupboards stains on fabrics etc floors very dirty Horrid smell from bathroon Filthy carpets waterleek had to change rooms with out any assistance also had to ask for seating for our room reception dial on phone not working so had to go down to desk few times . Staff were lovely but all so young coyldnt do enough for us.. I sent email regarding my issues not even the manager bothered to reply to me the duty receptionist sent a thank you for my email and was pleased my interaction with the staff was good even if my stay was crap ..never heard from managers or who ever was actually incharge I can tell you here if I hadn't paid in advance I would not have paid the full asking price and I was not offered any reduction at anytime ..I cannot comment on the food as I was on board only the connecting bar was nice and it had outdoor seating but again the seating was filthy stained cushions etc the only 100% thing ginger for this hotel was the bed the bed was super comfortable and bedlinen was clean ..but when your afraid to take off the crocs walking in the room ...anyways I won't be be back... a company has taking this hotel over and unless the head of the company doesn't take off their blinkers this hotel will fail 😒 and if they think is ok to not have certain standers then its doomed..ive travelled to many parts of Ireland and stayed in many hotels and this was buy far my worst experience ever and the price was in my opinion bad value times are hard and money is hard got .. my advice ..stay clear of this place ..unless it gets a total revamp its a non runner for me
Very disappointing and misleading
The room was dirty, smelled bad, and looked nothing like the pictures online. It was absolutely not worth the money. Booking.com usually delivers reliable options, but this property needs a serious quality inspection.
