Pros:

We stayed in the apartment which was not in the hotel.
It was nice but I think I would have preferred the hotel.
There was a couple of issues but the staff tried their best to sort it immediately.
It's a really good location.

Cons:

I would have liked to know that the apartment was not in the hotel and a short walk away.

Pros:

Lovely rooms and breakfast .

Cons:

We ordered a couple of steaks at £32 each . Wrong choice as they weren’t great . Expected better for the price . Also complained about the nightclub noise on the Saturday night as we had an elderly relative and a child who could not sleep through the music . Staff told me it goes on until 2am and earplugs are provide in the rooms . Not good when you want a good nights sleep .

Pros:

The staff were very nice and welcoming.

Cons:

If you want to stay somewhere for peace and quiet, don't stay here. I didn't realise there was live music on and it was very loud, as were the people who were having a drink or smoke outside. Don't get me wrong, it is lovely but just not very peaceful.

We had a great time - very good food such that we didn’t eat anywhere else.

The perfect stay

Lovely venue and only minor issues
Pros:

Location was superb and hotel very clean

Cons:

Apartment 1 Victoria Road is very nice but poorly lit inside - decoratively lovely but low level of lighting was irritating! Also could have done with more secure hooks on the back of all doors as there were no full length clothes hanging facilities and those hooks provided were stuck on ones which came off instantly. A full length mirror would also have been useful. We were attending a wedding and hence these issues were more notable
