I had a great stay at Townhouse. From the beginning, the service was warm and welcoming. Laura, Yesith, and Marie at the front desk were very kind, helpful, and always ready to give good advice and recommendations, which really made a difference.
The cleanliness was excellent and everything felt well taken care of. At times, you can hear a bit of street noise, but the place is so comfortable that you can still rest and sleep well. It’s a place with character, good energy, and a really nice vibe. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back
The hotel is beautiful full of art with well thought out spaces and a calm stylish feel. Everything was very clean and being welcomed with a local beer was a simple but thoughtful touch. The reception team were genuinely warm especially Laura who was lovely and shared great recommendations. The rooftop has a stunning view and the bar staff were friendly and easy to chat with. Overall it was a great experience. Comfortable welcoming and definitely a place I would stay at again.
The hotel is located on a quiet block yet it is centrally located to all the action. The breakfast (included with the room), served on the rooftop deck was a delicious and perfect way to start the day. The rooms are beautiful and whimsical! Excellent value for the price! Also....best reservation confirmation email ever!
Lau was amazing! She is more than just a person who works the front desk but an Ambassador for all things Townhouse and Cartagena. She was able to get us a free (pay what you like) tour and it was probably one of the best tours ever. She was great with directions and whatever we needed she was right there. The welcome beer was an added elevated touch. Not only will I stay there again but highly recommend. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom which is always an extra plus. The entire place was super clean.
The hotel is perfectly located in the old town, but what really stood out was the service. The reception team was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and they even greeted us with a welcome beer.
We had to leave very early the next morning and couldn’t take the breakfast, but they prepared sandwiches for us to take on the road, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The rooftop bar is a highlight on its own: great vibes, great drinks, and amazing views over Cartagena.
Overall, just a genuinely cool place with people who truly care. Highly recommended.
Townhouse was great. From the moment i arrived, Laura welcomed me with a costeñita (the local beer) and made me feel at home right away. She was super attentive the whole time, and Yasi and Maria at the front desk were just as helpful. If you’re ever unsure about what to do, they always have great recommendations and guide you without hesitation.
The hotel itself has such a nice, cozy style, and you can tell they take care of every detail. Breakfast was delicious, and the room service was really fast, which i loved. Everything is managed through whatsapp too, so communication is super easy.
Overall, it is a place where you feel comfortable and well taken care of. I’d definitely recommend it and i’ll for sure be coming back
We did not stay at this hotel but ate at the rooftop bar. The bar was super cute and the food was awesome. I loved the eggplant “kebobs” and my husband loved the fish tacos.

From the very start, the service was excellent especially Laura and Majo at the front desk, who were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready with great recommendations. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh, high quality options that made every morning start off great. I ran into a few booking issues before arriving, but Jesse and Laura at the front desk solved everything within minutes. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly set the tone for my stay. For my fellow Americans — you’ll be pleased to know that most of the staff speak fluent English, and communication here is effortless.
My room was modern, clean, and full of personality. I loved the creative art pieces, clever layout, and little high-tech touches that made the space both stylish and comfortable. Despite not being overly large, it felt cozy and well thought out.
The rooftop bar was easily the highlight of my stay. Located on the 5th floor, it offers a refreshing escape from Cartagena’s heat with cool coastal breezes and a relaxed vibe. The menu was exactly what I was hoping for — great drinks, good food, and excellent service. The staff up there were friendly, quick, and attentive to every guest.
Overall, The Townhouse Boutique Hotel perfectly combines modern comfort, artistic flair, and outstanding service. I’d absolutely stay here again.

Centrally located with a boutique vibe I loved. The rooftop is a gem, and the staff is truly 5-star.
This was my second stay at Townhouse. The location is perfect - located in the old walled city and walking distance to Getsemani - and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable with great AC (not everywhere in Cartegena has that!). I loved having the rooftop bar close by. There is a convenience store half a block away for essentials like sunscreen and snacks and loads of restaurants.

Only communication is by whatzup and front desk staff very rude they don’t want to help. Has to ask them to make my bed they forgot lol
