Pros:

I was attending ITM massage school and it’s right across the street. There are also other things walkable nearby, like laundry service, a grocery store, several dining choices, and a pharmacy. Grabs are easy to get and very affordable. Tuk-tuks from nearby tourist things will also bring you back to the hotel. Overall, it was good enough for my purposes and staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Nice and helpful staff. Convenient location. Bathroom shower deaign sends water all over room. Tiles slippery. Otherwise good. Area in general more dirty but many vacationers there.

The property was beautifully laid out with positive statements randomly posted throughout the property, which I found adorable. The pool was clean, and the staff were extremely helpful, even with the language barrier.

Pros:

Great value for money. Fantastic pool and common areas. Free beverages. Bed comfortable. Room size Ok, toilet and shower are only for skinny guests. Not sure what the designer was thinking. Food is not very authentic.

Great hotel except for the bed.

We enjoyed our stay at ISTY. The staff were so helpful and kind. The hotel is super cute, very trendy and fun decor. The room was clean and nice. The air conditioner kept it nice and cool. The downsides: our bed was rock hard. Like sleeping on a slab of wood with a sheet on it. The buffet breakfast was very minimal. Toast with jelly, a salad bar, instant coffee, watermelon and corn flakes. If you were lucky enough to grab one: an egg sandwich. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Parking at the facility may be limited.
A good decent hotel if you are looking not looking for any frills of a hotel. The rooftop bar at night is a good relaxing space to enjoy the quiet and calm.

Do not book for family stays

I would not recommend this hotel to families, we booked for 2 nights for 2 adults and 2 grandchildren, and ended up checking out within 3 hours. The hotel seems to be geered towards the young clientelle and the level of service you recieve shows, when we arrived at the hotel with 2 small children at no point did any staff member help us with getting luggage out of taxi into reception, and when checked in again no help with getting luggage to the room even though they could see us having difficulties. My wife went to the pool and took the towel from the room, a member of staff stormed over to her and rudely told her off and not to use that and to use one of the pool towels, appreciate this was our error but there was no reason to be rude and could of politely infomed us, as how would we be aware of that in advance??.

The next issue was the rooms, the balconies are totally unusable and rooms are very basic.

The guests they had staying there were very strange, we had several young men standing and staring at my grandaughters and wife as they used the pool, this is nothing to do with the hotel but gives an indication of clientelle.

I coukd go on and on with problems we could see in our 3 hour stay, but i just dont have the energy.

I feel if you are young single and on a budget this hotel would probably be great for you, however if you are a family or have a decent standard that you would expect i would not recommend booking.
