Pros:

All day breakfast, Very nice massages, good cocktails, nice reef walk and yoga, the managers seem to take feedback seriously (after we gave our feedback the manager approached us and talked about it. We received a small refund - 115$ from the 2690$ we paid, so... 4,27%. But if they improve for the next travellers it's also good)

Cons:

-Horrible beach (constant harassment to buy crap while relaxing on the beach chair even with the hotel security present, full with algae, 0 possibility to swim).
-very long waiting times for food at the restaurant and not always received what we ordered
-stained towels (we went 2 times at the reception to ask for new ones, received new ones the 3rd time after we brought the dirty ones to the reception).
-It gets very very very hot in the bungalow, no AC

Pobyt w hotelu Sunrise at Bandas był absolutnie wyjątkowy i na długo pozostanie w naszej pamięci. To miejsce zachwyca nie tylko pięknym otoczeniem, ale przede wszystkim niezwykłą atmosferą spokoju i gościnności.

Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje również kuchnia – jedzenie było przepyszne, świeże i różnorodne, a każdy posiłek był prawdziwą przyjemnością.

Ogromnie dziękujemy także za wspaniałą organizację uroczystej kolacji z okazji naszego miesiąca miodowego. Było to niezwykle romantyczne i dopracowane w każdym detalu doświadczenie, które uczyniło ten wyjątkowy czas jeszcze bardziej magicznym.

Szczególne podziękowania chcielibyśmy skierować do Farah – za jej nieustanny uśmiech, który potrafił rozjaśnić każdy dzień, za wspaniałe zajęcia jogi, które pozwalały się zrelaksować i odnaleźć równowagę, oraz za troskliwą opiekę, dzięki której czuliśmy się naprawdę zaopiekowani i mile widziani.

Cały personel zasługuje na uznanie za profesjonalizm i serdeczność, ale to właśnie Farah sprawiła, że nasz pobyt był jeszcze bardziej wyjątkowy.

Z całego serca polecamy to miejsce i z pewnością chętnie tu wrócimy!

Perfect verblijf voor ontspanning
Pros:

Super fijne locatie om helemaal tot rust te komen. Het ontbijt is heel uitgebreid en heel lekker, het personeel super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie aan het strand en met de zwembaden erbij kon niet beter.

Cons:

Wees je ervan bewust dat je even moet wachten voor het eten er is. Wij stoorden ons hier niet aan, aangezien we alle tijd hadden en in tussentijd genoten van onze omgeving en het gezelschap.

Our stay at Zanzibar Sunrise Bandas was wonderful. We loved our beachfront bungalow with its small, private outdoor tub, our porch and hammock. The walk to the reef and the live music were both a wonderful, free enrichment. The staff was very attentive, especially when I was sick for one day. The breakfast was very good and having the option to eat it any time was nice. The beach was beautiful and there were many restaurants within easy walking distance. It felt safe. We highly recommend this place.

Cons:

We signed up for a snorkeling and dolphin viewing trip that was recommended to us. It was very disappointing and over priced. The snorkeling was mediocre and between many boats coming and going. The dolphin viewing was actually a dolphin chase so that people could swim with them. It felt abusive to the animals and unsafe for the humans. I would not recommend this tour. To be clear this operator is not part of Bandas but they made the arrangements.

Petit déjeuner et restaurant très bon (gros plateau de fruits de mer)
Personnel adorable et gentil
Chambre jolie avec piscine privative
2 piscines à disposition en plus de la mer juste à côté
Chausson disponible gratuitement pour marcher dans l’eau (beaucoup d oursins avant d accéder au banc de sable)
Activités gratuites comme cours de yoga et rift walk
Autres activités payantes disponibles ( snorkeling, chumbe island etc…)

Cons:

Le Bungalow n est pas complètement isolé. Il y a un ventilateur pour rafraîchir (pas de climatiseur) et les geckos entrent facilement.

Pros:

It is rustic, charming yet modern. The closeness to the beach, activities are wonderful. Most of all the staff is amazing; always with a smile and very attentive. The rooms are super clean and the beds are very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful- a true paradise. We have stayed many places in Zanzibar but none compares to Sunrise at Bandas. Highly recommend staying here. We will for sure come again

A fantastic beach front location with amazing staff
Pros:

The staff were 10/10!! We literally couldn’t fault a single staff member! Everything from breakfast, to dinner, to cleaners, to reef walk and yoga everyone was fantastic! reception was really helpful too in organising taxis etc! Location right on the beach was lovely! Food was delicious!

Cons:

Would say it’s a little far from some of the big tourist activities but the hotel arranged transport for us which made it a lot easier!
No AC, only fans which was a little too warm at times but was worth it for the view and the location!
