Zanzibar Sunrise at Bandas

Our stay at Zanzibar Sunrise Bandas was wonderful. We loved our beachfront bungalow with its small, private outdoor tub, our porch and hammock. The walk to the reef and the live music were both a wonderful, free enrichment. The staff was very attentive, especially when I was sick for one day. The breakfast was very good and having the option to eat it any time was nice. The beach was beautiful and there were many restaurants within easy walking distance. It felt safe. We highly recommend this place.

It is rustic, charming yet modern. The closeness to the beach, activities are wonderful. Most of all the staff is amazing; always with a smile and very attentive. The rooms are super clean and the beds are very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful- a true paradise. We have stayed many places in Zanzibar but none compares to Sunrise at Bandas. Highly recommend staying here. We will for sure come again

Beautiful location and atmosphere, great food, no end-time for breakfast, literally right at the beach

The staff were 10/10!! We literally couldn’t fault a single staff member! Everything from breakfast, to dinner, to cleaners, to reef walk and yoga everyone was fantastic! reception was really helpful too in organising taxis etc! Location right on the beach was lovely! Food was delicious!

Staff was super nice,absolutely amazing vibes and so authentic yet elegant! Love the overall chill vibe of the whole boutique resort. 100% reccomend !!! great free activities like the reef walk is a bonus!

A beautiful little paradise on a stunning beach in a peaceful, quiet location. The bungalows are lovely, very clean, and we received a warm, friendly welcome upon arrival. Although we’re usually not big cocktail drinkers, the cocktails here were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The food was fantastic, and live music created a great atmosphere. The ginger tea with lime and honey was the best ginger tea we’ve ever had.

There was a very good range of activities, and we especially appreciated the complimentary offerings such as the village tour and the reef tour, both of which were very interesting and well organised.

L'hôtel est très beau, la vue des chambres est magnifique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien ventilées. Le personnel aux petits soins, toujours prêts à s'arranger. Les petits déjeuners, incroyables et très copieux.
