Hotel Snaefellsnes - formally Hotel Rjukandi

This was such a cute little place. It definitely felt like a home away from ours. We will definitely be returning hopefully sooner than later.

Quiet, remote, scenic. Room was very quiet. Comfortable.

Great and convenient location for exploring the peninsula. Spacious and comfortable room, smallish bathroom with just one shampoo or body wash but good shower pressure. Good spot to see an aurora if one makes an appearance! They offer food all day, we had the lamb soup with toasted bread which was excellent, but the chicken noodle soup, although filling, was rather tasteless. Friendly and helpful staff.

The room was nice and cozy. It was very quiet, and the staff was friendly.

The room was compact but clean and comfortable. The attached bathroom was petite with a shower stall that was almost next to the sink and no partition or shower curtain so the whole bathroom got wet. Apart from this it was a good stay in a very convenient location in the Snaefellsness peninsula. Thanks to the staff for being so courteous and helpful.

The hotel was near some beautiful attractions. Staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. We had a great view of the Northern lights.

The gentleman at the reception was very polite and took utmost care of the situation. We were very happy as he automatically upgraded us to an apartment as there were some noise complaint from previous guest. As for the apartment, it was clean with stunning scenic views. Overall, we loved our stay.

Nice small motel in good location for peninsula sight seeing. Rooms were comfortable and hotel restaurant had excellent food. Breakfast was included with a great variety of choices. Only down side was door had weight on it and slammed so in evening if resting you may hear your neighbours door as they left but it is otherwise in a quiet and remote area. Would definitely recommend

The service at this hotel was fantastic! In addition to having great food in their restaurant, the hotel also has a bakery with wonderful pastries. The beds were very comfortable, & the room size was perfect for 2. We would definitely stay here again.

This is such a great spot to stay or stop for a meal. Staff is beyond friendly and professional. Food was SO good! Dinner and breakfast - must try the soup! Beautiful location. Huge bathroom. Comfy bed.

Wow!! What an amazing spot to get a good meal and rest your head after exploring the peninsula! We were amazed by the hospitality and comfort of our rooms. Perfect location!! Such a great value.

The property is close to all the places that we want to visit. We order some food , but it was the worst in all our trip, looks like isnt fresh.

Wonderful hotel, charming restaurant and delicious coffee, excellent customer service and kind staff. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and location was ideal.

This was our last night in Iceland. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, good size. Bathroom was also perfect size. Small shelf. Great shower. We also had dinner at the restaurant. One of the best meals in Iceland. I was just about a 2 hour ride to the airport. TV was available, but have your Prime or Netflix acct numbers available.

Hotel staff is very friendly and showed us our room. The restaurant food was excellent. The only complaints was our room doesn’t have ventilation. We need to open the door to sleep.
