Pros:

A clean, minimal, cheap hotel not far from Bengaluru Airport. The main negative is that they claimed, both on the web and at check-in (in the middle of the night) that there would be breakfast, but in the morning, this was not. I don't think there is ever breakfast. The receptionist suggested walking ~5 minutes, which I did; the usual horrible and run-down roads to the usual excellent street stalls with great vada, coffee, etc.
Other negatives for the Passport Inn: a poorly designed bathroom in which the shower will get the entire room wet.
Also: it took a while for the desk clerk to figure out that I had a reservation (booked through Expedia).
But, as mentioned, it's clean and cheap.

Pros:

Stay was very plesant.
Helpful staff members.
Polite...helpful and genuinely caring.
Just that the bathroom needs a little attention to detail. Gets wet after a shower and toilet floor becomes wet and a bit miserable.

Pros:

Nice clean hotel relatively speaking to the surrounding area, some small stains on bed sheets, shower only had cold water, it gets lukwarm during the day but cold at night and early morning. Cable TV, good Internet connection, kettle, complimentary water and organic soaps. No extra bells and whistles, ok to crash for the night before the flight. Staff was kind and helpful. It's 30min from city centre, if you decide to move around (and also for airport) don't use cabs because they try to rip you off (no meter) use Ola or Uber.

Best place to stay if u miss ur flight.
Pros:

Closest hotel to blr airport after Taj. The airport shutte drops you right in front of the hotel. Rooms clean and prompt service. Booked at 1 in night and checked in at 3 but still was well received by the hotel staff.

Pros:

The staff took excellent care of me during my stay. Even gave me a motorbike ride to a bank machine and brought some excellent curry to my room for supper. Quite happy.
