Pros:

Good location and nice large rooms which were very clean . The staff were fabulous and nice breakfast .
We had a room which looked over an internal courtyard which was a bit dark.
But if you had a room overlooking the street then it may be quite noisy, as it’s crazy busy once you are outside the hotel .

Una cápsula del tiempo en el Centro Histórico de Bogotá
Pros:

Absolutamente todo, Francisco fue un anfitrión a la altura de la elegancia del hotel, la habitación de ensueño, el desayuno y las instalaciones de primer nivel

Cons:

Solo un detalle, quizás fue la ubicación del módem del cable operador, pero tenía una luz azul que solo pudimos apagar desconectándola porque casi no nos deja dormir, es algo que no me ha pasado en ningún hotel y me llamó la atención. Creo que deberían tener alternativas para tener más cobijas, nosotros no las pedimos, pero para una ciudad como Bogotás ideal tenerlas en la misma habitación y tener que pedirlas en recepción o algo así

Altes und schönes Hotel. Sehr netter Rezeptionist.
Gutes Frühstück - man kann wählen.

Amazing stay, a great hotel with lots of character and service :) the breakfast was great, I had avocado and the cutest

Beautiful inside, lots of fun art and design

Cons:

I only wish it was a little warmer, and we could t figure out how to lock the door from the inside 😅 I think modern locks (though I know they would not blend with the vibe/decor) would go a long way

The location, the staff and the comfort of the property made for a great stay in Bogota.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good. A menu described items from a plate of fruit, to oatmeal to a variety of egg dishes. The location was great, within walking distance to all the major attractions. Staff was always accommodating and friendly.

Cons:

The property was very nice but the decor and some of the furnishings seemed dated or needed refurbishing. My room was quite large but the lighting was a bit too dim for me. I didn't like that I had to knock on the front door to be let into the property.

The Orchids is a centrally located hotel with a great breakfast but facilities are faded for the price.
Pros:

Big room and bathroom and fantastic location for all the main sites. Breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Everything was dusty and not that well maintained. Towels were clean but musty. Rugs were stained and not well vacuumed.
