Cons:

The Orchids advertises it has a restaurant and bar. It has neither.

After staying 7 nights, I had to check out 3 days early and they charged me for the full 10 days saying it was booking.com policy. This is against the cancelation policy and I have booking.com looking into it. No response yet.

La beauté seule du site ne justifie en rien une nuit à plus de 160€ .

Le style de l’établissement est exceptionnel

Cons:

Les prestations sanitaires sont médiocres de l’eau à peine tiède qui ne reste pas. Des poires de douches qui arrose partout sauf sur vous. Des toilettes inutilisables car pas d’eau pour évacuer vos excréments. Les bouteilles d’eau ne sont pas fournies systématiquement tous les jours.

Pros:

Un hôtel au charme ancien, mais avec le confort moderne.
Remarquable petit déjeuner, excellent service, mais le plus extraordinaire est que nous avions une chambre totalement calme, sans aucun bruit extérieur, alors que l'hôtel est au cœur de la Candelaria. La qualité de la literie nous a permis d'avoir des nuits paisibles.

Nice hotel in an inconvenient location
Pros:

Although Bogota is probably the only city in Colombia that we didn't like, the staff at the Orchids hotel made sure that we at least felt safe and comfortable in the hotel. The hotel is decorated in an antique style and the dining room in particular is very pleasant.

Cons:

Hotel surroundings (Bogota in general). But this isn’t hotel’s fault.

Hotel tradicional com decoração luxuosa, mas preservando muita memória do passado

Café da manhã muito bom, com frutas, suco, e bem farto

Cons:

O box do banho é aberto em cima, e fica desagradável pois ao tomar banho sentimos frio

Pros:

My boyfriend and I loved our room, the bed was so comfortable, the shower and bathroom so clean, and the decoration everywhere was beautiful. It’s an amazing location to tour around La Candelaria and then uber to the other cool spots in the city. The staff was so wonderful and always available.

Pros:

Beautiful building in a very convenient location close to museums and cathedral. Majestic bedroom and lovely bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly security conscious.

Cons:

Could do with a few structural alterations like plug points near desk, stronger room lighting and interesting (!) plumbing ... but relatively minor complaints
