Pros:

The photos on Booking are a bit misleading - they make the place look far too perfect. In reality, the accommodation is a bit rougher around the edges, though not bad - it’s typical backpacker-style lodging. I slept in a bed by the window, right next to an advertising sign that stayed lit all night; fortunately, there was a curtain I could pull shut. The hostel is located on a main street, so you can hear traffic noise all night long—but that’s just the price you pay for being in the city center.

Suite à l’annulation faite par l’hôtel, J’ai réservé ailleurs beaucoup moins cher et bien situé.
Pros:

On m’a annulé la réservation alors que celle-ci était confirmée aussi bien par l’hôtel lui même que par Booking.

Pros:

The price is unbeatable and they work hard to keep it clean. Lots of small items like toothbrushes, charges etc are available. Which is nice.

Cons:

The beds are not very comfortable. Ensuite bathroom of my particular dorm adds a lot of humidity to the room. The ventilation is not sufficient.

A great stay
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at 109 Taipei Hotel . We had the best room with the large windows and city view which was a nice change from our previous accommodation in Taipei with no views, however, this made our room a bit noisy with the traffic outside, even though we were on the 7th floor. The location wasn't also as convenient as in our other accommodation whereas it involved quite a bit of a walk to get to the metro. It was good, however, for walking around on foot and catching buses. The hotel staff were very helpful and we enjoyed the hotel's facilities in terms of a coffee machine and fridge and microwave to warm our food. It was a great place to stay and I enjoyed our 'luxurious' room with large windows and views, however, I am not sure that I would enjoy the dormitory option next to the reception as much.
