Good place but map location is wrong
Pros:

Very big suite with comfortable beds, good working A/C and stocked mini fridge

Cons:

The location isn’t correct when on Google or Apple Maps. It’s farther down the hill and a 10 minute walk from Upper Barrakka Gardens and there’s scaffolding in front so very difficult to find.

I am happy when i have the chance to give a 10 to a hotel !😊The room was fantastic, spacious and super clean.The bathroom was also spacious with a very nice walk in shower (personally i loved the mirror and the ambiance of the bathroom).The bed was comfortable and the good soundproofing of the place , allowed for a relaxing sleep.We had a bottle of wine as a free welcoming drink ,coffee making facilities and water but there's also the option to have (with extra charge) snacks and drinks from the mini bar.The room also has balcony overlooking on a street. Not so much to see outside just a city street but that wasn't a problem at all.Everything was within a walking distance from the hotel , shops bars, restaurants , attractions ....The breakfast was basic but with good guality of products so that was very good for us too.The staff was polite , helped us with everything we needed and a special thanks to the manager for his attitude and service.He is very proffecional and polite. Overall it was a great experience , for sure i would choose this hoter again and i definitely recommend it to anybody.The taxi also picked us from right outside the entrance so that's also a plus if you have luggage and you prefer not to walk through pedestrian or narrow streets with them to reach a hotel.Before you arrive just make sure you have received from the hotel the codes you need to enter the main entrance and your room in advance, to enjoy an seemless experience!Thank you for the hospitality.

Cons:

Nothing negative at all.Please have in mind this is a small city hotel so don' t expect a big lobby or a big breakfast room area....But do expect a specious comfortable room!😉

Pros:

Good location! Peaceful and very near to restaurants. Neil was helpful and provided tips on Valleta and how to get around,

Cons:

The hotel placed a glass lamp very near the bed and one night, when I slept, knocked over the lamp accidentally and the glass broke, and I was required to pay 50 euros. Yes it may be half of the replacement cost but suggest not to invest in glass lamps as breakages can happen. They replaced it with another type of lamps

Also, breakfast is only cold cuts which is not appetizing after awhile when you keep eating the same thing.

A hidden gem.
Pros:

Considering the small team are about from early breakfast until 5.30 pm, they make a huge effort to think about your full time at 1926. Imran was particularly attentive, constantly checking everything was as expected and as normal when things can sometimes not work, he jumped right on it.
Breakfast was normally in the small breakfast area, with a fresh lay out each day. If an item on the buffet ran out, they topped it up. Imran also checked each day to see if you wanted it served on the roof top area overlooking the harbour. One morning we chose to do this and it was a great experience.
They offered a Friday night 4pm to 5pm wine and snacks roof top but unfortunately we were on Gozo that day so unable to attend.
On our last day Imran stored our luggage in the office until we returned for our evening flight.
Great apartment. Imran & the Team never stopped.

Cons:

There was a drinks tray left out each evening downstairs which was great. It included whisky & Port. Maybe wine would add to the offer.

Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht. Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral in direkter Lage fußläufig zu den abends belebten Straßen und Restaurants.

Cons:

Zum Teil kann ja das Hotel nichts dafür, aber zu unserem Reisezeitpunkt war gegenüber eine Baustelle und die haben wirklich sehr früh vor 7 Uhr morgens mit den lauten Arbeiten begonnen. Leider hat bei uns im Apartment das warme Wasser nur sehr unzufriedenstellen funktioniert, wir hatten deshalb auch 2x den Installateur im Zimmer. Danke für die Snacks, die Flasche Wein und die Taxifahrt zum Flughafen zur Wiedergutmachung. Das Personal ist sehr bemüht gewesen, aber ehrlicherweise mussten wir trotzdem entweder auf das warme Wasser verzichten oder minutenlang in der Dusche stehen ohne zu wissen, wann oder ob warmes Wasser kommen wird. Das ist wirklich unschön gewesen, ist aber bestimmt oder hoffentlich inzwischen behoben worden. Das Apartment ist schön, hoch und groß, allerdings war es zu unserer Reisezeit im Februar noch kühl, so dass es die Klimaanlage nur bedingt geschaft hat, das sehr hohe Apartement zu wärmen, bzw. oben bei unserer Tochter war es zu warm, wenn es unten angenehm sein sollte. Auch das ist vielleicht eher ein Thema für die kühleren Monate.

Excellent stay.
Pros:

Great location , nice rooms. Staff weee excellent. The gentleman who worked at breakfast was attentive. Neil was very good as well helping us plan our dining.

Cons:

The outside of property could be cleaned up. Street is run down and I understand not their property but the entrance outside could be fixed up Flowers, clean side walk etc. would make a big difference

O Pequeno Almoço repetitivo. Muito fraco para o valor cobrado.
Resume-se a uma chávena de café com leite, sumo de pacote, um pedaço de pão com queijo e fiambre +ovo cozido, 1 croissant com doce + um biscoito e uma peça de fruta - Banana ou maçã

A TV não funcionou
O preço é muito alto para o serviço prestado.
Só vale pela excelente localização.

Great stay!
Pros:

The location was super to access all points of interests. Great hospitality with a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival and bottled water daily. The room was very clean and comfortable. The service was very efficient and courteous thanks to Imran, the person in charge.

Cons:

The church bells were sometimes annoying, but what would Malta be without all its beautiful churches. To activate the lights in the room, remain a mystery and shaving with a dark mirror a challenge.
