Heerlijke plek maar de kamer was ouderwets.

Cons:

De kamer zat in het oude deel van het hotel dat nog niet gerenoveerd is. Het was dus een andere kamer dan op de foto’s van de website toen we het boekten.

An exceptionally high-quality accommodation in a beautiful location. The view is breathtaking, with the lake and mountains creating a truly spectacular setting. The beach area is well designed and impeccably clean, with tasteful furnishings and thoughtfully arranged relaxation spaces. There is no overcrowding, and the atmosphere is completely peaceful and tranquil.

Everything is available for both sports and leisure activities. After using the sauna, we were able to cool off in the lake, which was a fantastic experience. The breakfast was of excellent quality and could be enjoyed on a terrace built over the lake. The staff were helpful and supportive in every respect.

Cons:

The common areas on the ground floor have a traditional style and would benefit from modernization, even though they are well maintained and in good condition. The materials used in the restaurant are of high quality, but a tasteful design refresh could greatly enhance the atmosphere without the need to replace everything.

The restaurant's offering could also be updated, and a modern bar would encourage many guests to spend more time in the hotel. We would have appreciated the availability of traditional touring kayaks in addition to the beach kayaks, as they would be extremely well suited to the lake and could be put to excellent use here.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms. In a hotel of this category, I would expect more than just basic amenities (no minibar, only 1 coffee capsule per stay, only soap in the bathroom, no bodymilk...).

Great location by the beautiful Millstättersee with lovely atmosphere
Pros:

Great location directly by the waterfront, wonderfully maintained garden, beautiful interior design and cool programs for guests organized by/ available at the reception.

Cons:

In the main saison, some lack of personal services could be felt, for instance by the cocktail bar or during dinner by the occasionally long waitings for the menu served.

Pros:

Zimmer Lage und Ausstattung und die freundliche Betreuung auch für unsern Hund waren außergewöhnlich und toll, Hund konnte mit auf die Liegewiese und auch von dort in den See, das war klasse und hatten wir so noch in keinem hotel erlebt

Cons:

Halbpension würde ich nicht mehr buchen da die vegetarische Variante geschmacklich nicht unseren Ansprüchen entsprochen hat.
