The hotel is cosy and decorated nicely. The smell of the room and the uncomfortable beds were the biggest let down
Pros:

Excellent location to shops, trams and walking distance to the beautiful Vondel park, Jordaan and museums. The hotel has a lift and stairs for quick access. The staff were friendly.

Cons:

I booked for a twin room- room 320. The mattress topping was thin and uncomfortable. The TV reception was terrible. We did not bother to complain as we were out most of the day, but we did complain about the smell in the bathroom. It smelt like a men’s urinal. The smell subsided after it was fixed (?) but it came back. They told us the hotel was booked and could not move us to another room.

City location stay
Pros:

I loved the location, liked the confidently small but comfy bed and bathroom, enjoyed the lobby lounge.

Cons:

The booking, ans check- in were confusing.
I did book for my 3months old baby, but had to pay extra at reception for a baby crib I didn't need nor use, plus it was stealing extra room in the small room and broken when the team member wanted to put it up. The poor guy did work for nothing since we again did not use nor ask for it.

Great location
Pros:

Nice compact room bed comfortable and shower excellent . No storage space at all for clothes . A fridge in room would be useful . Room cleaning not great , breakfast gets very crowded

Staying in Amsterdam
Pros:

The location is excellent and very convenient to all areas of the town. The transport is great via trams and there are many of them for any direction.
