Dhulikhel Boutique Hotel

A decent option in a good location in the old town. The rooms are large, bathrooms are quite basic and the staff are very nice and accommodating. Bar and food were great!

A nice room, good beds, shower with hot water, many relaxing services, and the food is really really good!

Great view from my room window. Staff was great and went above and beyond to provide excellent service and make my stay as comfortable as possible. The food from the restaurant was really good and I also had a nice massage at the in-house spa. The only bad point was the WiFi did not work in my room.

This is a new hotel built in the Newari style. The staff are so helpful and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable

Very nice plave and the rooms were lovely. Some challenges with hot water in the showers and after a few days the drains became a bit ‘off’. Were locked in at night so there was a bit of ruckus one night when someone was trying to get in. The service was exemplary and the food was excellent.

Stayed 2 nights - the guy who checked us in also served meals.....he was always friendly & helpful - service was excellent.
It's a small hotel - everything was clean & good condition. Comfortable bed.
One down side was the hot water didn't get hot. After running for 3-4 minutes it was warm enough for a quick shower - but it took the edge off the ice-cold water (in winter/December) rather than heating it to a comfortable warmth!
On day 1 the cable TV channels weren't working - we were told it's a cable problem. I assumed this was a longstanding problem that hadn't been fixed, but the next day the manager informed us it was working - and it was. I was impressed they got it fixed quickly. A large selection of TV channels - news, sport, documentary, movies - many in English.
Food was very good - breakfast options (a la carte) and lots of snacks/lunch/dinner options - Nepali & western food. Every dish we ordered was fine - pizza wasn't the best we've ever eaten, but for $3 it was fine!
Our booking through hotels.com didn't include breakfast - but they gave us breakfast included. (Eggs any style, toast/butter/jam, potatoes, tea/coffee).
Wifi was good throughout the hotel.
No kettle in room, but we asked for one and they brought one.
Aircon/heater in bedroom worked well - so nice to have heating in the room in winter!
Mountain views from hotel are obstructed - but it's a good location for being near old town, 1000 steps....you can hike for good mountain views!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable, hot shower was enjoyable and the food was fabulous. Will definitely stay again, and have recommended the hotel to others in our team.

Potentially excellent but let down by limited hot water and no heating - when it was really needed. Quite pricey by local standards but probably worth it on balance.

This place is definitely a diamond in the rough...situated a stones thro from old downtown (where the architecture is fabulous ).....the place is relatively new, which accounts for very few reviews...I took a stab at this property after only seeing one review, I'm not disappointed...it's ultra clean, the chef is top notch....great cable TV...and a manager that was a great tour guide....Rajesh and his crew were great and I would stay here again in a heartbeat....

Happy with my stay in this new guesthouse. Like the newari architecture and the spacious room. Rajiv, one of the staff, is excellent in making sure that you enjoy your stay in Dhulikhel.
