We were visiting my son and the hotel is within walking distance to his home.
Refrigerators available upon request, not one in the room unless you request.
The location to our venue was perfect!
The view was spectacular, the room was perfectly sized and roomy as well as very comfortable and conveniently located for our needs.
Unfortunately, the elevator was not working once we returned from our outing and stopped at the bar for dessert. We notified the front desk and were instructed to use the stairs, which we did not locate and instead used the service elevator. However, this was not an issue, nor did we dislike the fact that we had to use another way to reach our room. The staff was great and everything was overall wonderful.

Room was not ready on time, caused a delay in plans. Staff was very apologetic though and more than made up for it.

A must visit hotel! If you’re looking for perfection in every detail, Hotel Zachary should be your next destination! Every detail stunning and immaculate! From the moment I arrived I was greeted by the kindest staff and visually beautiful interior! My stay was during the Christkindlmarket. The windows from my room overlooked the Market. It was the most beautiful Christmas scene! I felt as if I was at the North Pole in Santa’s Village❤️❤️
The bar offered delicious drinks! The food was amazing! I never wanted to leave!
Wonderful experience. The hotel was very clean and was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff was efficient and friendly from the door to check out. Ian at the front desk was extremely helpful and personable. We enjoyed the generous "pass arounds" at the Alma. As a Christmas gift from our daughter, it couldn't have been a nicer weekend to start the holidays.
We stayed at The Zachary for 5 days over the Thanksgiving holiday to visit family in Wrigleyville. Being across the street from the Christmas Market was magical, especially after receiving 8 inches of snow. The hotel was convenient to restaurants near the Stadium as well as on Southport. The hotel restaurant was outstanding for their daily breakfast as well as our favorite drinks. Service was impeccable, and our upgrade to a suite made the visit that much more enjoyable.
Our stay at Hotel Zachary was excellent. The hotel was beautiful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was fantastic, close to so many things. Everyone was extremely helpful and polite. I highly recommend staying.
