FIT OUR 7 GUESTS: There were two bedrooms (with 3 beds) + loft (1 additional bed)

WASHER (but no dryer) IN UNIT

RESERVED PARKING: This was excellent to have. There are 1.5 parking spaces (depending on car size).

After some initial challenges finding the place and getting access to enter, the stay was decent.

Cons:

DIFFICULT TO FIND: After the GPS said we arrived, it took us over an hour to find it. We literally pulled over on the side of the alley in front of the building but did not know it. Then we drove around and around, then pulled over on the road and had two people get out on foot to walk around looking (while someone else stayed in the car in case the police told us to move). There were no signs seen from the car (see images - the building is the white one in the center, with the black van in front). There was only a tiny sign on the side of the building where no cars can go (where only pedestrians and scooters can go), which we finally found only after walking all around on foot looking for the place.
- Suggestion: Place a LARGE sign that says "TAINAN TRAVEL INN" over the parking space in the alley.

REMOTE CHECK-IN WAS NOT SMOOTH: Door was locked and no one was present for check-in. I had to go find wifi access to check booking.com to find a phone number, then call the host. This was not convenient for an international visitor (had to get wifi access, check online for contact info, make international phone call to the host, etc). Only then did the host remotely unlock the door.

STEEP NARROW STAIRCASE: This could be typical for the area, but worth noting for international travelers or travelers who have difficulty climbing stairs. The downstairs bedroom had two beds. To get to the upstairs beds you had to climb up a narrow and steep stairway with variable-height steps.

COULD BENEFIT FROM ADDITIONAL AIR CONDITIONER: There was an air conditioner downstairs (1st level) and in the loft (3rd level), but none on the 2nd level.

ANTS: There were some ants crawling around inside the unit.
