Florencio Casa Hacienda

Our stay at Florencio Casa Hacienda in Pisac a few weeks ago was exceptional in every way. The proprietress is a warm and lovely lady who was so welcoming, we immediately felt at home. She has a special gift for hospitality and made certain we enjoyed our stay. The establishment is beautiful and the central courtyard stunning with beautifully laid stonework and balconies. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and comfortable as was our bathroom, which was equipped with a large tile/glass walk in shower and an extended granite top sink that had more than ample room for all of our toiletries (we had three of us in our room!). The morning breakfast was delightful with fresh fruit and a wide variety of breakfast items as well as hot, made to order eggs.
The proprietress takes special care in meeting guests needs and ensuring their stay is enjoyable. The hotel was formerly a family home, originally designed and built by her grandfather. In addition to the hotel, there is a very large adjoining botanical garden belonging to the property. We received a guided tour gratis and basked in the morning sun while strolling through the beautiful trees and greenhouses. The garden also includes a small horticultural/agricultural museum established by her father. It was fascinating to learn about the hundreds of varieties of corn, potatoes, and quinoa grown in Peru. The location of this establishment in downtown Pisac was a huge plus as well. We walked to the renowned Pisac market, shops, and restaurants. The outstanding Parque Arqueológico, a must see, was very close by.

Un soggiorno in una casa ricca di storia e accogliente. La signora che ci ha ospitato era estremamente gentile e premurosa.

Das Hotel hat einen wunderschönen Innenhof, kostenloses Wasser und Tee. Was es allerdings von anderen Unterkünften wirklich unterscheidet ist die Besitzerin Rosemary. Von Tipps zu den öffentlichen Bussen über Restaurants etc. war sie unglaublich hilfreich. Ich würde allen empfehlen, sie um eine Tour durch ihren botanischen Garten direkt gegenüber zu bitten. Ihr Vater war Botaniker und hat den Garten angelegt, sie selbst ist Entomologin und hat den Garten um ein kleines Museum ergänzt.

It was a gorgeous historic property. The staff was so kind. The location was perfect. Loved the breakfast bread made fresh daily on site. The owners were delightful to talk with about the history. Can’t imagine a better place to stay in Pisac.

Loved the location, and rosalinda was the warmest host. Make sure you go with her to the botanical garden!!!

Very rustic, old grandeur, great location. Make sure to check their botanical garden across the street.They arranged transportation for a group of 15 up to the ruins.

Owner was very helpful. Hacienda itself has historic feeling to it and looks beautiful. There is also plenty of room in courtyard to rest.
