Pros:

Αρχικά το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενέστατοι. Ή τοποθεσία εξαιρετική και η θέα απίστευτη! Το δωμάτιο ήταν πεντακάθαρο και ήσυχο.

Cons:

Θα ήθελα ένα πιο άνετο στρώμα και μαξιλάρι. Για εμένα ήταν αρκετά σκληρό το στρώμα και το μαξιλάρι αρκετά λεπτό. Αλλά είναι προσωπική άποψη.

A wonderful stay with incredible hospitality and a breathtaking view of Matera.
Pros:

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had an unforgettable experience. Because of our bus schedule, we arrived before the check-in time, but one of the staff members kindly let us in as soon as they arrived for work and even made us coffee. It was such a warm welcome.

The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They gave us great advice about sightseeing and directions around the city. Even before we arrived, they contacted a restaurant we wanted to visit and also helped us reserve another restaurant they recommended.

When our return bus was canceled due to a strike, we had already booked a train on a different route. The staff kindly explained that taking a taxi to that station would be expensive and suggested a better option. They even checked the prices and schedules for taxis and buses for us. Their kindness was so touching that it almost brought me to tears.

Everyone at the hotel was full of hospitality and made our stay truly special. The room was very clean, and staying in a cave hotel was something we had always dreamed of, so it made us very happy. The view of Matera from the hotel terrace was absolutely breathtaking, and we went there many times just to enjoy the scenery.

Magical Place in Magical Matera
Pros:

Il Belvedere is a magical place. First of all, you are right in the middle of the old part of Matera. When you get out of the hotel, you can basically start your Sassi tour. The staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is great and you can have it on the outside with an amazing view of Matera. We stayed in the comfort room which was very spacious and nice. We were there in February and the room was very well heated. If you go by car, there is a private parking 3 minutes walking distance to the hotel. If I ever get the chance to visit Matera again, Il Belvedere is definitely the place I will stay. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Beautiful stay in the heart of the Sassi!
Pros:

The cave room was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The terrace offered incredible views, and it was so nice being in the Sassi. The breakfast was good and the staff was lovely.
