The views of mountains and green environment are very attractive
The rooms are so clean and the beds are comfortable and warm. You can make tea/coffee in the shared kitchen. Each room has a television. The balcony provides a scenic view of nuwaraeliya town, including race course , gregory lake, and mountains, etc. The manager is so helpful and friendly. Parking is available
Bathroom facilities can be improved. But they are clean.

We stayed in a shared balcony room, and it was really good! The balcony view was beautiful, perfect for relaxing. They also had hot water available, which was very convenient. Parking was hassle-free, and the hotel truly offers great value for money. Even though we arrived late, the staff was understanding and accommodating, making check-in smooth. Definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay!

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at the Royal Mound Hotel in Nuwara Eliya. The review on Booking.com was completely misleading and did not reflect the actual conditions of the hotel.
The room door could not be securely closed, and there were holes in it, making it possible for someone to see inside from outside.
One of the window locks was broken, and the room lacked privacy as hotel staff or other guests could easily walk around and peer into the room.
The hot water supply was insufficient, with barely enough for one person.
The sink was dirty, and the tap was broken.
Very small space in bathroom.
The bathroom walls were unclean and had broken holes, creating an unsafe environment.
The parking area was inadequate, making it difficult to park a car.
I strongly advise others not to rely solely on the reviews provided, as they do not reflect the true quality of the accommodation. I was highly disappointed with my stay.
