Raya Heritage - SHA Plus

I originally checked in for 4 nights and ended up extending twice — staying for almost a month, which says everything.

I truly couldn’t fault a single thing. Everything was perfect, but what made my stay so special was the staff. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely happy in their work. I felt completely safe, cared for, and nothing was ever too much trouble. It made the entire experience incredibly memorable.

If I had to mention one small thing, it would be the number of guests taking constant selfies around the property, which at times took away from the peacefulness of the surroundings — it occasionally felt a little like an Instagram set rather than just enjoying the beauty of the grounds.

That said, this is a very special place and I would absolutely return.

Clean and tranquil

There was nothing to fault here. 10/10 ! All the staff were genuinely incredible and made my stay a very memorable one. Shout out to the housekeeping team, Louise, Bam and Yum . I leave with beautiful memories of an incredible stay.

As part of our honeymoon travels across Thailand, our time at Raya Heritage was the highlight. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s attentiveness, kindness, and genuine authenticity made us feel not just welcomed, but truly cared for. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating more than just a stay - it was an experience that felt deeply personal and serene. The atmosphere was tranquil, the design beautifully authentic, and the service beyond exceptional. We only wish we had spent more time here, as it is without question the most unique and special hotel I have ever visited, making our honeymoon unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to all the Staff and our balcony Geckos for keeping the bugs away!.

We stayed 2 nights at Raya Heritage and it was stunning. The rooms are superb and the service is excellent. The breakfast is also very good. Overall a great stay.

I love Raya Heritage for many reasons. The ground is serene and peaceful, being there calms my nervous system already. It feels as if time stood still. Their hospitality is top of class, excellent service and genuine. I feel well-cared for every time I stay.

The room is super comfortable, well-maintained and clean. I love the terrace and complimentary natural tea selection. A lot of care has been put in to the room amenities to make the stay as comfortable, tasteful and sustainable as possible.

Every time I leave, I look forward to returning. Thank you Raya Heritage team for your excellent hospitality - it feels good to return every time.

The entire experience was fantastic from the setting to the accommodations and the food. The staff in particular was fabulous.

The treatement from the staff is exceptional. Attention to detail here is amazing, they offer very cool daily activities and free transport to the city centre. Food, views, comfort, the rooms and staff are all 10/10. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

What a fantastic place to stay and unwind. Located along the river the hotel is sobtranquil and quuet. The pool is well serviced during day. Free shuttle into the city 4 times a day which is useful. Head and shoulders better than sister hotel in city. From the moment we arrived we felt truly at home and most welcome. The rooms with the pool are so lovely with complete privacy. The bed was so comfortable with pillows that were so soft. Will definitely visit again

Located on the river a little way from the city centre, this is a lovely hotel with very nice gardens and lots of bird life.

The hotel is beautifully designed with a nice courtyard. We had a suite on level 3 which was very large and with views over the river from a private balcony with lovely plants. The bed was enormous and very comfortable and the bathroom had bath and shower with plenty of hot water and towels.

A very high standard of housekeeping. The only challenge in the room was an overly complex system of light switches. When an explanatory card is provided it has got too difficult!

A nice bar and a large if slightly overcooled restaurant. Better for us was to sit outside. Breakfast had plenty of choice but when things were busy service got a bit chaotic with things not arriving at all or all together. And an oddity was their inability to do toast.

Dinner was generally good with some interesting choices. We chose badly one evening with something unpleasant dish but that was our fault.

Overall it felt a stronger or more visible restaurant manager was needed especially at breakfast.

Lovely helpful staff.

There is little in the immediate area to see but there is a shuttle bus which goes into the old town.

Strongly recommended.
