Room was clean and tidy. Reviews regarding the smell of the stairs leading to rooms was muggy smelling but as it constantly used it didn't bother us. Staff were very pleasant. Room was very stuffy during our stay even with the fan on but it was during a heatwave and it was 30 degrees outside so was to be expected. Overall very good weekend
great location, friendly staff, reasonable prices.
our room was on the top floor and the stairs were a bit of a bind with us being quite elderly.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Great breakfast.
We stayed at a very hot time, so although a fan was provided the room was still too hot. This meant leaving windows open - hence we heard the late night noise from hen parties etc.
👍
👍
All staff very friendly hotel clean
Carpets in communal area needs replacing
Location was great
Room very hot, and very noisy till 1am, weather was extraordinary to be fair and window had to be open, police should clamp down on noise in the square, considering it’s a stone throw away…
Great location- in the heart of the cities historic district. Great staff and nice bar.
No elevator. Stairs were very narrow. I worried how one would manage if a fire broke out.
location
room was hot due to weather and unable to open windows
no removal of rubbish until day 4, so 3 nights without any cleaning
Gode senger og perfekt beliggenhet. Hyggelig personale og god mat😊 Det var quis mandag kveld som vi deltok i, og med god hjelp fra kokken fikk vi inn noen poeng😉
Great location, large room and a great breakfast
Nothing
Warm welcome, spacious room and great location
The mattress was disappointing and the noise from the fan outside the window
Centrally based.
Lots of noise, lots of shouting in the early hours.
The hotel is near the cathedral for out event. Lovely staff. Spacious room. Spotlessly clean. There was a great fan to use
Socket set out strange and not enough.Made the hairdryer hard to use. The hairdryer was quite low powered. Need direct light to use mirrors in the bedroom for hair and make up
Good location in Chester
Our bed was broken which we didn’t realise before it was too late at night to speak to anyone about this, room was so hot and as bed was broken we did not manage to sleep at all. When i spoke to someone about this in the morning they did apologise and offer us breakfast but we had already eaten. Did not feel worth £100 a night.
The location and staff were great , and the breakfast was excellent value for money
The room was quite hot, and overall the hotel could do with some TLC , but I'd imagine that it is listed.
Rommene har queensize seng - hadde vært perfekt med kingsize.
Skandinaver liker separate dyner - ikke dobbeltdyne.
Town centre, large clean room, good shower, lovely staff
Bit too warm for me in the room but that wouldn’t stop me staying again
