Overall it was a fantastic stay.
Pros:

Loved the location. Hotel was very clean. Staff were very attentive.

Cons:

On the website it stated half price for bottles of wine however when I asked the question I was told that this should not have been on the website. Furthermore the member of staff removed a sign saying half price for a bottle of wine. I think that he should have honoured this as I was a paying customer staying at the hotel.

Comfy bed, dirty bathroom.
Pros:

Location was great, and the bed was comfy.

Cons:

The bathroom was disgusting. There were someone else’s hairs in the bath. Stains on the walls and the underside of the toilet seat looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks.

Budget stay, ok for price.
Pros:

Good location & big room

Cons:

The mattress needs replacing, can tell it’s very old. Plug socket didn’t work and bathroom in desperate need of a makeover. Hairs in the bath and shower was terrible.

Noisy and needs updating. But room clean and comfortable.
Pros:

Breakfast good

Cons:

We felt the property needs some updating although the room and bathroom was clean. Unfortunately the noise from the bar downstairs was so loud late into the evening we were unable to get to sleep.

Nice restaurant to eat and drink but accommodation is poor
Pros:

Location was great, staff were very friendly and helpful, bar area, restaurant and food were very nice.

Cons:

The staircase to the rooms very scruffy, carpets filthy. Room no 5 which is supposed to be a deluxe room was of poor standard. It is a large room but dated. The bathroom needs a refurb. The grout between the floor tiles has crumbled away. It Also felt like it needed a good clean, hair in the bath, toilet rolls sat on thick dust. I’m not one to write reviews but if I had read this then I wouldn’t have booked it.
