Hotel Ottilia

Hotel is great, food is good but any staff I had to deal with was really unpleasant, I felt like I had to keep low profile the entire time. Plus they refuse to speak Danish to you.

I have visited copenhgen three times for business and pleasure this year an each tim have stayed at Ottilia. My decision is based on the locatio, the grat value, the comfort of the rooms, the incredicbly customer-riented staff and the fantastc breakfast.

We had a nice stay at this quite big but beautiful hotel. It's a bit outside the city center. Using a bike is a good idea. Try to book a bike in advance. They were al rented when we arrived. But using a Donkey Republic bike was a good alternative.
Breakfast is yum. Beds are good. Loved the view from the room... We had a room with the round window.

We had a great stay here - it’s a little out of the centre, but the transport is easy or grab a line bike - but they create a great atmosphere and the public bar and sitting areas are excellent for big family groups as are the happy hours - just wish we had a bigger window in our room !

Very nice hotel! Good rooms, love the interior and real good breakfast! Love the neighbourhood atmosphere around the hotel.

The hotel is based in the Carlsberg area which is an incredibly stylish and vibrant area that’s two train stops from Copenhagen central station. I really liked the style and design of the hotel and the roof top breakfast restaurant was a real highlight. The rooms however were woefully small. We were on the first floor. They’d placed a spare bed in the room for my 7 year old and it made it exceptionally cramped. I think with a slightly larger room, I’d have given 5 star, but I’m not sure I can justify it give the shoebox size of the room.

The area was outstanding, quiet and clean. Very easy to get everywhere and lots of fabulous places nearby. The hotel staff were incredible at every level and we slept very, very well in the gorgeous beds.

The hotel offers a high-quality stay, comfortable beds, and a very beautiful and absolutely peaceful setting. The round windows with seating are a highlight! Highly recommended.

We had a room with round windows and loved it. It was spacious and clean. We also really liked the area and will come back next time.

There are good & bad points about Hotel Ottalia. Overall it’s a good hotel. It’s a great building & the historical links to the Carlsberg Brewery are nice to see. We arrived early from the UK & as our room was ready were able to check-in early - a bonus. Breakfast was very tasty & great healthy choices. We ate around 8am as it does get incredibly busy. There’s a happy hour between 5-6pm for some complimentary wine & then again between 10-11pm there are some complimentary nightcap drinks. Possibly the areas for improvement are that the hotel corridor areas are so very dark, the Wi-Fi constantly went down & we felt that we were just a bit too far away from the city centre so had to do a lot of walking or use taxis. The Carlsberg Brewery Tour that’s close by is an excellent tour. 👍

It was a very good stay and close to Home of Carlsberg and Zoo. Very easy to commute by train to CPH centrum.

I had high expectations of my stay T your hotel as I have a friend who lives in the Carlsberg area and she had talked greatly about this hotel. I also stayed there consifering how neatby it is located to her building and her great recommendation. The prices seemed rather of an at least 4star hotel yet the service was not aligned at all. Very cold welcome furing check in with no information given on wifi, ammenities, services avilable like bike rental etc. Once in the room oh surprise! No ammenities, bottled water, slippers any kind of accessories udually given and avaiablr in same cateogry hotels! Moreover out shower was not workin properly and having a bath eas rather stressful than relaxing. Also no shampoo and body eash available and even after one day of stay and the cleaner passed didnt even refill so we had to go to teception and ask for it to be refilled!

Had to move rooms - twice! First time I wasn't given a Heritage suite, then when I did it was so small with no windows and air con that didn't work. Third room looked more in line with what i booked, but was still super warm throughout my stay as the air con was not working. I messaged about this a few times and was not replied to or acknowledged. It was a less than friendly welcome and everything seemed a bit difficult. The woman who showed me to my third room was really nice. I didn't get no info on the hotel on arrival, or the restaurant or any of the features. I couldn't get ready in my room without breaking out into a sweat it was that hot. And sleeping in that heat was also difficult. It wasn't exactly a 'cheap' stay and for the Brochner Group I expected a lot more, having stayed at their properties in the city before. All in all, a very underwhelming stay.

We stayed in the Ottilia Hotel for two nights and had a great time. Top Hotel - We would definitely stay there again!

Great neighbourhood, very picturesque, lots of good restaurants and cafes. Lovely boutique hotel, great paces around hotel and Happy Hour is great.

Lovely hotel with industrial design, in a very interesting area great architecture, nice restaurants, and cafés. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent, just like the service. An ideal starting point for exploring Copenhagen.

The stay was excellent. The view from our room was good. We had a good time here. Although I would recommend keeping bathroom slippers in the room. Thank you!

Room size is not great for all rooms, room temperature is not possible to set in the room and has an average of 20 degrees. Staff friendly but on average to young to be senior and care for their quests. Rental nikes expensive but good.

The hotel is super modern, the staff are super friendly, break lil bar setup, rooms were really cool. Slept really well. Nicely situated in the cool and quiet Carlsberg precinct, plenty of direct options for dining and entertainment in the vicinity
