For those who prefer self catering and an excellent location without paying the earth this is ideal
Pros:

In a small studio apartment but well equipped and everything worked including very efficient aircon. Our towels were changed 3 times and bedding twice in our week by the friendly daily maid service. The safe was free unlike the rip off in some hotel/apartments. The location is ideal just a minutes walk from the harbour and the bus station where the coastal bus takes you to the many beaches. A good tip from the owner which we followed was not to prebook a taxi from the airport which are expensive. They are plentiful at the airport and it is only 10 Euros into Skiathos town. There is a snack bar by the pool.

Cons:

Not really a moan but our balcony looked over a small street above reception with some noise from mopeds etc. Did not really trouble us but if you want a pool view pay more for a bigger apartment

Pros:

Location was excellent and the staff were lovely. It's a traditional family hotel with a cosy, relaxed feel.

Cons:

Quite tired decor in the bedrooms and small quite dark bathrooms.
The WiFi was intermittent at best, non existent mist I f the time.
It's quite a noisy hotel at times with our room directly overlooking a primary school. The hotel next door was also loud sometimes at night from the entertainment and deliveries arrived early morning.

Pros:

Rooms really clean, the Housekeeping staff are brilliant and work hard, pool area was clean, near too bus stop,tavernas and supermarket.

Cons:

Tv was small, dont usually bother us but we did have a few rainy days.
