Beautiful hotel, definitely more like 4 star!
Pros:

Amazing location, so central. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, very spacious and super clean. We also ate breakfast at the hotel the next morning and it was delicious.

Cons:

No iron / ironing board in the room, we likely could have requested one from reception but we didn’t ask so it wasn’t a major issue. Only other tiny details which could’ve been improved would be the shower pressure, however again not a game changer. Would 100% stay here again.

Perfect village hotel with great restaurant
Pros:

Lovely property in the town center, exactly where we wanted to be. The fish chowder in their restaurant is the best I’ve ever had, don’t miss it.

Cons:

We had one small issue, when reported to management they were excellent, professional and friendly in dealing with it.

Pros:

Toilet expelair / fan needs fixing as noisy room 2. Also noisy on landing no respect for others asleeping in bed rooms 😩 Saturday night bad. Sunday night ok.

A very good place to stay in Carlingford
Pros:

Fantastic location, nice room.

The reception area is a bit of a strange place. Bathroom is somewhat dated.

What's not to like by and large?!
Pros:

Friendly efficient staff, quality of food, speedy service, decor, layout and location.

Cons:

We might have chosen to stay Sunday and Monday rather than Saturday and Sunday if we had been advised in advance that Saturday is disco night till 2 a.m.
One minor issue, we could not get tv to work for live tv.
