Skyway Hotel Entebbe

Incredible people work here! Very helpful.

I had great time here. I stayed here for 2 nights, and I highly recommend this place for every traveller who needs a budget hotel close to the Entebbe Airport. The breakfast was delicious and was very filling. There was also a good number of options.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive to my needs. For $9, you can get a very delicious and filling meal. It definitely felt like home away from home for me.

The bed was cozy and comfortable. The rooms were also okay for the price. You have hot water to shower, and a mosquito net to prevent mosquito bites.

I particularly loved that you get a free airport pickup or drop-off and when scheduled ahead of time, the driver shows up on time.

free airport pick up is provided. FREE transport to the beach or other sites in Entebbe is provided as well (inform them in advance and pickup/drop off will be arranged). The staff are very friendly and willing to help for any situation.

The staff was so kind. For the price offert, everything was just perfect.

Should dust the rooms more often.

Ordered and paid for food at 5pm, delivered to room at 8pm. That is not good. Obviously the samosa and chips were cold. Luckily they had a microwave (not in the room).

Be aware there was on TV in room 6.

Other than that my stay was ok. They provided me with an adapter for phone charger.

Came about 5:30 pm - the gate was locked. Had to shout to get a security guy to open. Very nice and helpful receptionist - was 2 people short staffed so no dinner. Simple, clean and inexpensive. Although booked via Booking .com, did not take credit cards.

Overall it's good for this budget and also airport pickup and drop free service is good.

The staff at the hotel was just amazing, very kind, helpful and hospitable. Especially Daniel who picked me up and dropped me at the zoo and the airport! The hotel is a bit old, but it has a nice façade and a big lawn where you can just chill in the sun.

Excellent customer service. Accommodating, friendly staff and employees. Comfortable location. Clean and beautiful compound. Equipped and clean rooms.

There is a free airport shuttle. The hotel is located a bit back from the main road, but the shuttle is available for free on demand. There is a restaurant on site with limited food and drinks. The internet is reliable and rooms have en suites, mosquito nets, TV and fans. The hotel is quiet and has lovely grounds.

It was nice to be in Skyway Hotel with some of the nice employees that you have and they are all welcoming except one? The receptionist on September 14th Morning was NOT welcoming at all and HE does not know how to handle customers because he TREATED me like a THIEF and DEMANDED I PAY HIM IN CASH for the nights i spend after seeing all my bills in the e-mail as paid? HE must be fired or dismissed otherwise NO Customer I may advise to stay in Skyway Hotel as an International person and a professional? He acted as a cone man yes?

Awful... Booked using expedia. They called and confirmed my booking. When arriving I was told that through expedia I must book twice and pay cash...

The staff are very friendly. I had my requests handled well.

Staff are sooooo kind and helpful, thry put all efforts to make me comfortable.

Overall not a good experience. Wifi not good, water drips from the ceiling, walls and floor are in bad shape. I do not recommend to anyone specially business travellers.

I called the day of arrival to schedule a 1am pickup. The free shuttle must have arrived early because the driver was second in the long line of hotel pickups. Room was spacious and clean, check in was fast and efficient. Internet was good and a hot cooked breakfast was included. The desk recommended I go to the wildlife conservation center and it was a fabulous afternoon.

After finding the hotel online, I called to confirm free airport transfer for guests. The front desk told me the price was 25% higher than what was quoted online. I booked online and arrived at the hotel in the afternoon. They had record of my reservation but claimed I had not get paid. I showed them my receipt, but they insisted I had not paid. The issue was escalated to a manager who claimed they had no ability to receive online payments from Expedia and that I needed to pay cash. They claimed to have canceled my reservation, but I showed them that there was no cancellation email or refund. They agreed to let us sleep and wait for Expedia offices to open. At this point no staff member apologized for accusing us of not paying and cheating the hotel. In the middle of the night, the owner of the hotels wife came and woke us up refusing to let us leave the hotel or sleep unless we paid cash. We even explained Expedia to them, but they clearly didn't understand. Eventually the owner showed us the alleged cancellation email which was responded to with an auto response which the employee was claiming as a confirmation of cancellation. I called Expedia, but they were unable to communicate with the employee, because he refused to admit the flaw in his system. This stay was a total nightmare for my 2 am departure in a foreign country. I was shocked and disturbes by the treatment by not just one but four different employees including a very drunk manager in the middle of the night.
