很棒的建築、室內設計和旅宿空間，每個轉角都有驚喜、處處都是細節。民宿主人發哥聊到為了光面清水模到日本研習之行，使得作品獨特且出色，令人讚嘆！
此行還提供現做的的Vegan早餐，我們都超喜歡，謝謝主人和發宅夥伴對住客體貼和用心，我們回家後聊天還很回味，覺得超值又滿意。

The property is located in a small village within walking distance to the national marine biology museum. The rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures, spacious, clean, and comfortable with a sleek industrial design. We had a mountain view room, which has access to a very large back yard and a pretty front yard.
The hostess was very friendly and provided lots of useful information.
The room was every bit as wonderful as it looked in the photos. The "garden" view overlooked a pretty open field and although there was a small road that passed through, it was relatively unused and quiet. The balcony area on this side was great for looking at the night sky.
The bathrooms were generally spacious and well-appointed. There was a bidet in the toilet, and the onsen-style concrete bath was really spacious and perfect for soaking after a long day of sightseeing. Not much of a view to speak of though, since it overlooks the carpark and you can't really use it with the blinds up - but that's still okay for us.
The mini bar area also had a cold/hot water tap through a filtration system. That was quite a nice touch!
The whole stretch down South towards Kenting was beautiful and the topography of the beaches varied even with just a 10-15min drive. The location is really perfect for an idyllic holiday. We were there for 3 nights and there's still so much to see.
I felt the towels were the only major blight on the stay. They were quite worn-out looking (frayed at the edges, looking a bit grey), and it felt really bizarre given how the hotel had premium pricing and most of everything actually lived up to expectations.
Other smaller quibbles - I would have liked extra sets of towels in the room (the way some hotels keep extra pillows in the cupboard) since reception isn't 24/7 and guests may not realise what else they need till they're back late. Most hotels give a 3-pc set (one for body, one for face/hair, and one for hands), but the set here was a 2-pc so we had to keep requesting for extras. The hairdryer was also painfully slow.
Do note that you absolutely need some form of private transport to get around. Uber doesn't work in Checheng, and the local taxi app was just as useless. We planned on renting a car locally, but that backfired because we were told that the smaller local shops don't have the right insurance to cover drivers with int'l licences. In hindsight, renting from the larger companies like hertz in Kaohsiung would have been better. Anyway, we ended up renting a scooter to get around, which worked reasonably well, though it gets pretty cold when riding back at night because of the wind chills!
There's one cafe right beside (not open on all days though) and apart from that there are no meaningfully good food options (or major convenience stores) within walking distance. But if you have transport sorted, the larger Hengchun county is about 10-15min drive away, with a good mix of dining options - quaint little cafes, bubble tea shops, street stalls and family-run eateries, and some decent bars.

美好舒適的住宿品質，親切的服務和美味手作餐點，很值得再訪。
環境乾淨舒適，住起來很舒服，像家的感覺，老闆闆娘很親切，下次會想再過去🙂

完美的住宿體驗，寧靜的小漁村，環境悠哉，民宿主人發哥發嫂很好客，帶我們參觀了其他房型，從沒住過這樣設計與質感兼具的民宿，早餐也是相當好吃。
跟女友同一天生日的慶生之旅，另外招待我們很好吃的乳酪蛋糕，下次會再回來。
房間很乾淨, 採光及視野都很棒. 主人發哥很用心打造, 每間房間都有特別的設計, check out 後還親自導覽, 真的很棒!

We stayed at 2/F W separated toilet and bathroom and there are fish pound in the balcony where my daughter loved.
Owner kindly drove us to aquarium for sleep over and picked up us. The walking in seaside is nice and hand made breakfast is yummy and healthy. We wish to stay again. Thanks a lot.
