Nice location and atmosphere but need to check your payments prior and confirm.
Pros:

The atmosphere

Cons:

The double charged me after pre paying prior and upon check in was charged more than I paid for the room. Extremely frustrating and disappointing considering the amount deducted was over 600 dollars and we could have used that for our trip.

Fun hotel with great location
Pros:

My family loved this hotel. It was in walking distant (0.5-1 mile) from all the food and activities we wanted to see. The front desk was very friendly when we checked in. We enjoyed our free welcome drinks and my daughter got $10 to spend in the snack bar. Our room was small, but we expected that. It was cute and clean. As other reviewers mentioned, the shower opens up into the main room. The glass is frosted so you can't see people taking a shower when they are in it, but you do come out of it into the main room. It was easy enough for us to say, close you eyes for a minute. We had a lot of fun in the lobby playing their board games and shuffle board. It was a fun atmosphere for us and our 13 year old. They were able to store our bags the day of check out while we explored the city.

Ineptitude Times $211.
Pros:

This hotel was unable to process my credit card for incidentals. Not the fault of the card, rather faulty or inadequate merchant processing.
No matter. My booking was refused, without notice.
The hotel will not refund and additionally charged me for parking I did not use.
Management was and continues to be completely unhelpful.
Bad experience all around, negating any positive experience at other like-properties. Will not stay at another Moxy, ever, and highly suggest you consider otherwise as well.

It was nice but not up to par for the price
Pros:

The lobby, games, music, games, and the staff were all amazing!

Cons:

Our room was not very clean. The shower curtain was gross and had mold on it, the carpet in the hall was very dirty and coming apart, there was stuff stuck on our floor and nobody had cleaned behind the bed between the support and the window. Seeing others trash is not a good thing. The elevator was also dirty all weekend.

Reliable Moxy Stay
Pros:

I was in Chicago for business for 1 night. I chose the Moxy because it was competitively priced, and I've enjoyed all my stays at Moxy brands before. this was my first stay at this particular property.

I received an email a day earlier to instruct me where to park (which is a 2-3 blocks away from the hotel). I parked there first, and brought my ticket to the hotel for validation. The front desk then processes the parking ticket, and sends you a QR code so you can have in-and-out privilages. Like other Moxy's, the check in is done at the bar - just look for the check-in sigh. Rest of the check-in when smoothly. I got a token for a free drink at the bar, and as an elite member, got a scratch card to win more points (I won 500 points). Staff were really helpful by providing some local recommendations on where to eat and nearby attractions.

This Moxy has the same vibe and feel as other ones - club vibes with bright colors and neon. Hallways are a bit dark, and the familiar murals in the ironing areas. Room is compact, but as far as Moxy's goes, not the smallest one I've been in. It had all I needed for a one night stay. Temperature was well controlled, and WiFi worked. As my room faced the intersection, I could hear a lot of street noise, which wasn't a suprise.

Location is excellent. Lots of restaurants nearby and about a 20 min walk to Magnificent Mile and 30 min walk to Millennium Park.

Overall, another good stay at a Moxy. Reasonably priced room in a good location that feels really vibrant. My only complaint it the high parking cost - but that applies to all downtown hotels.
