Where to start , stayed here with friends for a spa break , from the minute we walked through the door the service we received was exceptional, we were given a room upgrade , room’s were spacious and beds really comfortable , Restaurant staff could not do enough , service was second to none and the food just incredible , booked spa treatments with Judith who from the moment she introduced herself made us feel we were in good hands and treatments were fantastic , leisure facilities swimming pool , sauna ,jacuzzi robes and slippers provided , so impressed by this little gem of a hotel and staff we booked another break while we were there and can’t wait to return .

A really enjoyable relaxing stay

Nice hotel, dodgy meal.

Sadly, the chicken meal I had on the second night resulted in a violent stomach ache at 2am after which I vomitted throughout the night and we left to go home at 7.30am without having breakfast. The girl at reception was unsympathetic and denied there was anything wrong. We were required to pay a service charge. We will not be going again.

We will definitley return as a treat
Pros:

The room was lovely. Well appointed. Staff were very helpful and considerate. Food was lovely, a little more expensive than some, but still worth it as a treat. Would hightly recommend. Pool lovely.

Cons:

Only moan was the sausage at breakfast... not nice at all. That aside breakfast was delciious.

The rooms were large and clean. The spa is great and the staff were lovely.

Cons:

Really poor quality blankets and pillows, mattress wasn't that good either. We paid £172 with breakfast. I would expect better quality bedding for that price. We also had food in the marigold, which I couldn't eat. I ordered pork bao buns, and it was tiny bits of pork with apple sauce and raw chili's. There was more apple sauce and chili than pork, was extremely disappointed with the food, although that can't really be blamed on the hotel, even though the restraunt is part of the hotel.

Lovely relaxing short break
Pros:

Had visited several times a few years ago,prior to new owners, sadly we stopped as it was not what it used to be,however it's now back to its best with an excellent menu cooked beautifully..the staff were always great and it was lovely to see them again
We will be back again soon ..thank you

Pros:

It was clean, descent breakfast and nice staff.

Cons:

The bed had no support and the spa facilities were just about working( hot tub inside was just about warm and didn't go in the outside, because the temperature kept falling).
