Pros:

Stopped for a night here en route to Scotland. Guy who checked me in had a great sense of humour and was very helpful. Kitchen, bathroom, and room were spotless. On street parking right outside on a no-through-road. Aldi at the end of the street for easy snacks. Bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

Good to note that the building is not entirely soundproof - I was woken up early Sunday morning (before 7am) by other guests yelling as they left which is on the other them, not the property.
Some of the cleaning products used in the communal spaces are overwhelmingly fragrant. Just a personal preference for something not as strongly scented.

Pros:

The staff were very lovely. It was a last minute booking as our vehicle broke down but they went out of their way to be accommodating

Cons:

It’s nitpicky but the floors were all wood and in a guesthouse it’s difficult to be quiet when moving around late at night or early in the morning. Looks nicer than carpet though.
