Mi experiencia en este hotel fue, lamentablemente, una de las peores que he tenido viajando con mi familia.

Llegamos el 20 de junio después de conducir todo el día desde Miami y el primer problema fue que nos asignaron una habitación que no correspondía a nuestra reserva, ya que faltaba una cama para una familia de cinco personas. Tuvimos que deshacer todo el equipaje y volver a cambiar de habitación, perdiendo un tiempo valioso al inicio de nuestras vacaciones.

Sin embargo, el problema más grave ocurrió al revisar posteriormente mi tarjeta de crédito. Descubrí que el hotel había realizado una autorización por USD 853,00 sobre mi tarjeta, a pesar de que la reserva ya estaba completamente pagada previamente a través de Booking.com.

Esta situación redujo mi crédito disponible y me impidió comprar las entradas para Universal Orlando tal como estaba planificado. Perdimos el primer día de nuestras vacaciones, un día que estaba destinado a visitar Epic Universe, una experiencia que habíamos organizado durante meses y que finalmente no pudimos disfrutar.

Después de múltiples correos con la administración del hotel, reconocieron el error y afirmaron haber realizado la reversa de la autorización. Sin embargo, al momento de escribir esta reseña, los USD 853,00 continúan retenidos en mi tarjeta y mi banco sigue sin poder liberar esos fondos.

El hotel me prometió además que la primera noche sería descontada de la reserva realizada a través de Booking.com como compensación por todos los inconvenientes ocasionados. Hasta este momento, ese reembolso aún no se ha materializado.

Debo reconocer que algunas personas del equipo intentaron ayudar, especialmente Bryan, quien gestionó el estacionamiento sin costo, y Daniela, quien nos ayudó a reorganizar nuestra visita a Universal. También agradezco que finalmente ofrecieran un crédito de USD 100 para el restaurante del hotel y la devolución de la primera noche.

I got a room without a dining table that is shown in the photos of the type of room that I booked. The room was not prepared for my party of 4. After each room cleaning, I had to request the fourth towel that was taken and not replaced properly. The bathroom had mold in the shower curtain. It is my 2nd time in this hotel, and the experience definitely was not the same that I got in the first time.

My spacious room was tthe beat part of my stay and the fact that the rooms were sound proof.

The location was great, the breakfast was decent and the staff was nice. The nice sized refrigerator and microwave was a huge plus.

Cons:

Paking was 27ish dollars a day which is insane when its not like its valet or something special. At checken theyvonly had 1 person and she was stuck for the longest time dealing with and elderly woman, everyday without fail the trash cans near the elevators overflowed and on 2 separate occasions I seen German house Rochester in the hall near the elevators on my floor and in the lobby. The ice machine on my floor didn't work my entire stay it just made a continuous noise that sounded like water was running. The shower had no grip in it and my son slipped and fell while taking a shower but thankfully he is fine. And my room didn't come with a do not disturb sign.
