Lovely stay
Pros:

The location of this hotel is what makes it !!! Absolutely beautiful!
The staff were very professional. Great food selection and were very kind to kid/ fussy eater. Lovely breakfast also!

Cons:

Our room had no signal/ wifi. Difficult to get about with heavy bags lots of steps however expected with old building.

A wonderful country house experience!
Pros:

Beautiful setting, house has character and charm. It’s not over-the-top luxury. It seems just right for a country house type stay at the price point.
Food was very good, exceeded expectations!!

Cons:

Bedroom could use a fan but we opened the window and the fresh air was plenty cool.

Notre chasse d’eau ne fonctionnait pas. Le matelas était très très très inconfortable ! Vraiment mal dormi et très mal au dos ce matin

Séjour idyllique au calme dans un château typique écossais
Pros:

Le bâtiment est majestueux. Le personnel est au petit soin. La nourriture est excellente.

Cons:

La chambre pourrait avoir un petit coup de rafraîchissement. Juste pour être un peu plus moderne.
Des jeux de société (échecs, dames,…) serait un plus pour amener plus d’ambiance.

Our room was open and airy. The grounds were well maintained and the shoreline location added to the over-all experience.

Cons:

From my perspective, the facility seemed a "bit tired". For some this would add to its charm but I felt it could use a bit more attention to freshening some inside areas.
