Pros:

Had a downstairs room with a door to outside. The bed was comfortable and a large shower room. Onsite Indian restaurant.

Cons:

The room next door was up all night being extremely loud and tv turned up ridiculously high. Not the hotels fault.

Great value stay for our party of eight
Pros:

The bedrooms were immaculate.
Tables were laid out in the restaurant to accommodate our.party.of 8 even though we had taken advantage of the hotel policy and brought our own wine and we were not dining.there.
Staff were.very friendly and helpful

Bedrooms were a little cramped.

Unhappy with additional hidden charges and mediocre facilities. Wouldn’t return.
Pros:

Location was good, short walk to the canal to walk into the city.

Cons:

When we arrived, although booking.com said we had paid in full and there was no other payment required, the hotel charged an extra £20 for the fact we had the dog, and there was no information on booking.com to say this would be the case. Booking.com made it clear we had paid and to report any extra charges, so a mediocre double room became £82 which I thought was expensive for the size and quality of facilities.

Majority of the stay was good
Pros:

The property is good and the food was good.

Cons:

Smoking container is right by the entrance to my room number 10.

The doors bang in the corridor, when people go to the toilet and if they have a conversation in the corridor it can be loud.

The food is expensive but very good

Nice but not if you are a light sleeper
