Great little hotel 😁
Pros:

Everything was good. Nothing to complain at all. The staff was lovely😊❤
Our puppy loved his stay with us. As did our boy. We had a great time visiting other places too as everywhere was quite close
There's a beer garden at the back, which pup liked to walk in the mornings around it because he was fascinated with the horses in the field behind. Handsome fellows too! There's a huge Wigwam to the side with 3 or 4 shed/ conservatories type buildings with table and bench set. All closed. It's been left to it's own devices. I assume they would be working on it more for the summer. All done up would make a killing in the summer months. Has a lot of potential. It is an alcohol free hotel and restaurant, but we're welcome to bring our own.

Our room was cleaned every day which we didn't expect. Spotlessly clean everywhere.
Close by is a park and ride which we took going into Chester. It was cheaper than parking the car in Chester. £5 for a group of up to 5 people was brilliant!! I wish the normal bus service where we live charge us that daily! We would save a fortune! There's an esso garage next door. A drive through Costa which backs on to the canal where we took our pup for a walk in the evening it was lovely.
Then further afield.. We went to Ellesmere Port clothes outlet that isn't far away. We also went to Rhyl, (sorry but a grotty place!) The beach was nice and clean and son and puppy loved playing in the water! 😁 we visited Prestatyn, that has changed, it's quite a pretty and clean place. Then we came home via Shrewsbury. We had a lovely coffee and enormous cake at a polish cafe, called Moslovia. We had breakfast, then called in again on our way back to the car for another drink and took cakes back home with us.

Cons:

It's a bit scary trying to turn right on to the main road as it was difficult to see coming from the right corner. Apart from that, nothing to complain about it at all!

This hotel has everything you need for a short stay.
Pros:

Staff very friendly. Room exceeded price expectation. Restaurant onsite was a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent.

Cons:

Outside space could have been better. Grass cut. Table umbrellas open. A bit more welcoming. No alcohol served - which wasn’t an issue, but may be for some.

Just about adequate for our needs.
Pros:

Didn't have breakfast.
One night short stay. Got up and left.

Cons:

No water out of the tap just the tiniest trickle. Not impressed.
Expensive for room only.
If we'd booked earlier we could have stayed elsewhere for bed and breakfast for less

Pros:

tikrai labai tvarkingas kambarys

Cons:

nes vonioje nėra jokių spinteliu ar lentynų pasideti kosmetikai ir kitiems reikmenims. Viska reikejo vonioje laikyti ant grindų.

Poor Breakfast
Pros:

Went with a group of friends for a breakfast meeting as we had done in the past. What a change! we knew that it had new owners and that the restaurant was now Indian but as it was still a hotel we expected a decent breakfast on offer as we had had before
The full cooked breakfast was served on cold plates the food was cold Chicken sausages and Turkey rashers! egg had been standing around and the toast was still white. Most sent the food back and the veggie offering was not much better. We will not be going back and as a local i have been going since it first opened. I felt sorry for the front of house team Simon and Paul.

Pros:

The staff were pleasant, and welcoming .
Tea and coffee with kettle ,supplie 👍😊

Cons:

The rooms was on the 2nd floor, which was fine, but under the eaves, therefore my husband cracked his head often on the corners, even i did a few times when I forgot to duck, and I'm only five foot one!😂.
The carpet looked disgusting, horrible stains all over it, which gave the impression of being dirty.
The hotel was situated on a very busy road, which then explained the provision of earplugs on the bedside cabinet. Very noisy during the night, and lorries passing caused vibrations!
The shower area over the bath was curtained off, leaving a very small area to shower in, thought the shower was good and powerful.
