Perfect location for Chicago Marathon
Pros:

1. Location for Chicago Marathon - the hotel is basically on the marathon course and you can see the runners from the window (from some rooms at least). Connected to McCormick Center by a tunnel. 2-3 stops from downtown by Metra (line green and red are close by).
2. Room - big, clean, comfortable.
3. Pool - it's a bit cold but nice to be available.
4. Laundry for clients - also great for runners.
5. Small shop at reception - useful as it had cold medicine that I needed.
6. Great coffee at breakfast and there's a Starbucks at ground floor.
7. Possibility to leave luggage before check in and after check out was much appreciated.

Cons:

1. AC could not be turned off and it was very noisy and cold the first 2 nights. After that they sent someone to shut it down form the electric panel and it was better.
2. Very noisy room - the AC, the shower tap, lots of street noise.
3. Breakfast - very basic, single use cutlery and plates - felt very cheep.
4. No restaurant on site.
7. Bathroom could use a renovation.

Nice hotel, we would return again.
Pros:

The room was clean, had a good view, everything worked well, shower was okay. Breakfast was great. We did not have time to get in the pool.

Cons:

The nightly fee was crazy high because of the marathon...even though we stayed there Thursday and the Marathon was Sunday. The beds were very firm, a little rough on the hips/back. The towels in our room were either nice and fluffy or old and shredded on the edges.

This was a great location near other restaurants and stores.
Pros:

Great location and updated facilities. The staff was very nice.

Everything was fine with no issues. There was also a lovely sunset view from my room.

We all had a great time and stay
Pros:

I liked how easy valet parking was a little pricey but to be expected in a city. I loved the location and the ease of dealing with check in and out and that Starbucks was right through the lobby!

Cons:

That there wasn’t no mattress protectors on the mattresses but they were bug free

Overall, the Hampton did a great job making our experience fun and memorable! Amazing staff!
Pros:

Liked access to the gym, the rooftop restaurant, the breakfast that's offered every morning, the pillows, the location of the hotel, and the kind and accommodating staff.

Cons:

The mattresses were too hard. The TV didn't have an option to access streaming service, such as Netflix, Prime, etc.
