A beautiful hotel, we stayed in a Superior room. Nice breakfast.
Everything about the room was beautiful but unfortunately the noise (music) from the bars nearby was playing so late at night it was hard to sleep. The room was hot even though it’s early March and not hot outside. So we had to sleep with the open doors. Additionally, they didn’t provide earplugs.
Abbiamo adorato la posizione dell’hotel, proprio nel cuore della città, comoda per muoversi a piedi e scoprire i dintorni. La nostra camera era spaziosa e pulita, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di visite. La colazione è stata un vero piacere: con tante opzioni per tutti i gusti. Ma ciò che ci ha colpito di più è stato lo staff: disponibile e pronto a rendere il soggiorno davvero speciale.

Zimmer sehr schön mit Ausblick aufs Meer (5. Etage) und eigenem Whirlpool auf dem Balkon. Das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich gut, insbesondere das French Toast und die Eggs Benedict sind sehr lecker. Lage ist in der Nähe des Ausgehviertels, aber man bekommt davon im Hotel nichts mit.
Kleiderhaken für Jacken im Zimmer fehlten.

It was hard to use the hair dryer as there was no plug socket near to a mirror
It would have been preferable for a small coffee-style table and chairs in the downstairs section as it was not very safe to carry a cup to the sofa up the winding wrought iron staircase. There was nowhere to sit downstairs.
The enclosed terrace was amazing but again no furniture to utilise it which was a shame

Well located for sightseeing and restaurants, this is a beautiful hotel in a restored traditional building. The staff are eager to please and were very helpful in suggesting what to see, how to get there and where to eat. The rooms are beautifully presented, with large comfy beds and immaculately clean. Our room at the rear was quiet and had a distant sea view. Breakfast was a combination of a buffet and cooked options from an extensive menu which included local specialities. We appreciated the availability of an airport transfer arranged by the hotel ( €26 extra cost). The rooftop pool and sitting area was nice but too cold in February to use.
We booked a suite with a hot tub which sadly broke during our stay. We missed out on plans to use it one evening. The staff could not have done more to try to resolve this problem and manually refilled it with hot water during the day so we could use it the next evening and moved us to another room with working hot tub as soon as possible. This move made us realize that some rooms are a lot bigger internally than others in the same category ( whilst others have bigger balconies which compensate for the smaller internal area) so if I were staying in future I would want to ask for the balance of space that best suited me. I also found it hard to book the airport transfer through booking.com but this was quickly resolved by calling the hotel direct.
