Wonderful boutique hotel in the middle of Valletta.
Pros:

From the start it was a wonderful experience. We were welcomed by Mary who was always so helpful throughout our stay. And all of the staff were equally wonderful. The location was great, just two short blocks from Republic which is where all of the action, stores and great restaurants are so we were close but on a quiet street. The room was nice and large with modern conveniences. Although our terrace view was not impressive, looking across at a rather dilapidated building, we were fine. The breakfast was very good and had lots of choices and the staff were so good. The building is very old and charming. The rooftop pool is small but refreshing and there is a bar there as well with another wonderful staff member serving.

This is a great choice for visiting Valletta.

Other hotels are available, but why bother? The staff are what makes this hotel work so well. Some familar faces and some new faces...everyone is cheery and helpful.

Pros:

The hotel is full of character and the rooftop pool is very appreciated after sightseeing on a hot summer day! Our room was beautiful and very spacious. The hotel staff are great too!

Elegant boutique hotel in the heart of Valletta with pool and spacious terrace
Pros:

Large bedroom and bathroom with small enclosed balcony.
Terrace and pool area very nice for an inner city property.

Cons:

Reception staff not being local did not know much about the city or transport.
It would have been nice to have an area for coffee/tea in the airconditioned downstairs area or in the dining area

Fantastic stay
Pros:

Superb boutique hotel with great staff. Palais le Brun is located a short walk from both the sea and the main sights of Valletta.
All staff were exceptionally helpful. Our room had a hot tub on the balcony and we also enjoyed the roof top terrace and bar.

Absolutely wonderful, comfortable, opulent well-located hotel.
Pros:

Quiet but central location.
Friendly staff.
Clean.
Opulent interior.
Very comfortable rooms with hot, powerful shower.
Rooftop pool with great cocktails!

Cons:

Not much to add here, I loved it.
Only things that would elevate it even higher would be: slightly more premium toiletries (hair conditioner), turn down service.

Pros:

staff très agréable et attentionné (il s'agissait d'un anniversaire et la chambre était décorée pour l'occasion avec des ballons multicolores). Nous avons fait appel aux services de l'équipe à divers reprises pour notre séjour avec toujours une efficacité et une gentillesse renouvelées. Très à l'écoute et au service du client.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in the Heart of Valletta
Pros:

We stayed at the Palais le Brun for 5 nights from 29/05/2026. It is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Valetta. We did have a problem initially due the hotel being overbooked but they were so helpful in sorting out this problem and we moved to our Jacuzzi suite the following day. The breakfast and staff were great and you could ask for a cooked breakfast in addition to the buffet. We used the pool on the roof terrace on a couple of occasions which was lovely to spend an afternoon after sightseeing in Malta. The barman at the pool was so attentive and would come to our lounger to take orders for drinks... he is definitely an asset to the hotel. If you are looking for a top end authentic hotel in a historic location .... then this is for you. We would highly recommend.

Suite avec Jacuzzi
Pros:

L'emplacement est parfait

Cons:

Nous avions choisi une chambre avec Jacuzzi, malheureusement son fonctionnement nous a beaucoup déçu.
Il est prevu pour 2, mais une seule personne peut profiter des jets ( 1 seule place est équipé) ... bien dommage.
Et le 2eme jour, la personne chargée de la maintenance a réglé la température à 44 degrés, donc nous n'avons pas pu rentrer dedans !
Au vue de la différence de prix d'une chambre avec Jacuzzi et sans Jacuzzi ( presque du simple au double) nous étions vraiment déçus.
L'hôtel nous a offert le taxi pour le transfert à l'aéroport.
Nous avons trouvé que c'etait la moindre des choses, limite un peu mesquin même... 26 euros de moins sur un coup total de 950 euros ...
Nous ne vous conseillons pas ce type de chambre clairement.
