The hotel what wasn’t
Pros:

I arrived at 12:05 because Aeroflot lost my bags and I could not find the hotel because the hotel, 3 stars supposedly had no name written on it and no sign whatsoever that it was a hotel.

No one at the front door, the door was locked and lights were out.

I was left in st Petersburg at midnight with no way to check in. Great work Variant “hotel”! Not.
