Great choice in Kampala!
Pros:

Everyone from the owner, Mr Lee, to all the staff were fantastic.
Best shower we had in Uganda. Comfortable bed.
A lovely pool, and versus so many other areas of Kampala, a fairly quiet road in front.
Would 100% recommend. Many thanks.

Kampala reprieve
Pros:

We had a very pleasant stay at the Duomo. Our original room had poor wifi coverage, but we were quickly moved to an alternate room.
We enjoyed the restaurant menu; and generally had a relaxing weekend visit.

Pros:

The rooms at exceptional. Don't bother looking elsewhere when you can just go to Duomo. The comfort is outstanding. I'm at my second stay there. Very clean rooms with lots of space even in the smaller rooms. When in Kampala, go Duomo. You won't regret the value for the money. See you soon Duomo.

Pros:

The property is new and well maintained, rooms are some of the most spacious I've been to, clean and modern. They felt a little sad though, they should make them a bit more cosy and do something the smell of emptiness. Breakfast and meals were ok, not mind blowing. Having dinner by pool perhaps compensates a little bit. The hotel is just by the road so no issue with accessibility.

Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kampala looking a reasonably priced, secure and comfortable place to stay.

Good stay
Pros:

Duomo is in a quieter area of town close to an important commercial block with a large mall and all conveniences.

It is a simple clean hotel. Parking is inside and has a guard. The bed is comfortable. The water gets to be hot and they had a coffee machine, fridge and some kitchen utensils. At night it was quiet and we slept well.

The service was very good. Check in was easy and the lady was very friendly and gave us all necessary information.
