Over priced and over hyped
Pros:

The bath and bed were nice and room spacious.

Cons:

Breakfast was completely inadequate, really cold, hard and tough couldn't eat it. For the price of the stay I was really shocked fed this back at the end of the stay and just got a shrug of the shoulders. No mirror at dressing table in room.

Absolutely fabulous, you will not be disappointed ....
Pros:

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. The staff (Elliott & Kim) were wonderful and so very welcoming and attentive. The food was sensational, huge credit to the amazing chefs and the room was outstanding. Huge copper bath, loved the names of all the rooms, decor was stunning, they really have thought of everything (oh except the rooms should have a fresh decaf coffee bag)

Cons:

Faultless... so didn't like having to leave! We arrived late and had to leave the morning for work, would love to stay a few nights next time and will definitely be back...

We were really looking forward to this break together 30 years and our 12th wedding anniversary as well, the issues may
Pros:

Lovely location, and offering the facilities! Set up great and cannot fault where it is, bar, restaurant and room facilities..

Cons:

The room wasn’t clean, a lot of dust and stained items; the curtains didn’t fully close so it was bright come morning, the room bath tub drained of water quickly despite the plug being down and the main problem was the bathroom door didn’t close properly so opened up on its own the lock didn’t engage! All issues were reported to the hotel so hopefully resolved for the next guests!

First impressions count
Pros:

Very comfortable bed

Cons:

First impressions count , we arrived at 1.30pm and headed to the bar for a drink. Myself and my wife are the only customers in the bar and I asked the barman if I could watch a football match. He said I couldn’t as he was watching another channel. I was quite taken aback as he is working and I’m a paying customer. He said we could find the game on at a pub down the road.

Pros:

The room was unbelievable! I thought this was one of the lower standard rooms when I booked but it was absolutely stunning. The bed was amazing and the copper bath tub.

Cons:

Only small but some of the plug sockets were placed where you couldn't use them and there wasnt a socket near a mirror.

If you never stay but are passing through Sedgefield, go take a beer, meal and I assure you that your day will be improv
Pros:

Quaintness and decor with a singular theme of “Pigs” yes you did read that right could only make us laugh and smile at the same time. This venue has had money lavished on it and it was easy to see that somebody really cared for the business. It’s central to the town with parking and I couldn’t recommend it higher.

Cons:

Trying hard to think but nothing comes to mind.

Lovely hotel, will be back again
Pros:

The room was amazing, clean and well stocked. Checking in was easy and lots of space to park the car behind hotel

Cons:

The breakfast buffet was limited. It would be lot better if fresh fruit was available at the buffet table.
