Pentahotel Moscow, Arbat

This hotel is very, very, very bad. They unfairly took 34,000 rubles from me, just because they claimed there was some dirt in the bathroom, even though we were a family. The hotel does not respect its guests at all, and it is not clean.

The service at this hotel was the poorest I had across my two week stay in Russia . The rooms were not cleaned for two days in a row despite my notifying the staff, the staff were unhelpful when I asked them to help me make a restaurant reservation because I didn’t speak Russian . The breakfast I ordered took too long: the eggs came after the toast was cold and they were not as requested but the bigger issue is the staff is unapologetic and makes it feel like it is yours fault ! The hotel is badly placed for taxis also as there is nowhere to park in front . The rooms were comfortable but there was nowhere conditioner or cotton buds or basic items other than shampoo and shower gel. A poor experience : would not stay again.

Very bad experience, there id no parking in front the hotel and no service to take care of the luggages you have to carry them by yourself to your room
And the reception is on the third floor
The cleaning id very bad and the are not providing iron .

Russia and Moscow liked it very much
The hotel is located in the center, the view is beautiful - the street, in the evening the lights are on.
Service is good they put us hygienic shower in the room we see this for the first time.
We decided to stay longer in Moscow and were given a 10% discount after registering with Penta Friend.
there are a lot of people at breakfast but the food is good
there are many shops around
we will be back and looking forward to seeing them again

Monitor your housekeeping staff as they seem from my experience of my stay l not cleaning at all and alot of dirt and dust accumulate in the following areas

1. Dust on kettle
2. Alot of dust on phone - which means they don't clean the room phones. Alot of germs accumulate on phone mouth pieces
3. They didn't mop the floor of the bathroom for over 3 days. I cut myself and blood leaked onto the bathroom floor and it was never cleaned for over 3 days. We had to complain to reception

This is to the management please monitor your team to ensure they are not avoiding their responsibilities when it comes to cleaning, are you aware how many germs accumulate on sneakers when walking back onto the room carpet.

Service

Reception staff was polite

Food and beverage staff - you need to focus on the chef as he is very inflexible and demonstrated unwillingness to take a request to make cheese omelette and insisted that we take an omelette he cooked earlier.

If your service doesn't include adding cheese on omelette it would be very wise to emphasise this however if you don't add cheese or other condiments then you are very behind in world standards when it comes to live stations.

Once again please monitor the chef.

The coffee table in the room is too large and limits movement space try in the future to add smaller coffee tables

I have added pictures of where dust has gathered even though housekeeping visited our room they didn't clean it which is in itself disgusting but as hotel management you are paying staff but not to avoid their responsibilities and miss parts of their work.

Please note they did offer to check after we complained and when they came we were not available at the time.

I visited Moscow for the first time and chose this hotel based on my travel agent's suggestion considering the budget I gave them. I stayed for four nights.
The location of the hotel is really good. You will have access to both Old Arbat Street and New Arbat Street. Old Arbat is a walking street full of restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops whre you can certainly get Matrushkas for friends and families! New Arbat is also full of shops and restaurants.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Arbat Metro Station (Subway) which is great because you can use Metroi in Moscow to go almost everywhere.
I told the receptionist that I want a quiet room and I don't care for the view so she gave me a room overlooking an alley toward Old Arbat Street which also gave a nice view of the city especially at night.
The room was really clean and the lighting was cosy. The heating system was good.
I did not have my breakfast at the hotel and did not use the hotel gym.
I cannot really make any complaint about this hotel.

What I really liked was the view from the rooms and the cool common area. Like the restaurant, and the breakfast room. Perfect place for digital nomads. Would always come back here when visiting Moscow.

I stayed at penta hotel on new Arbat street for a week
I must say everything was perfect
The food. The rooms were all 5 star
But most of all the staff are so professional and friendly
The security man YURI is an unbelievable gentleman
So friendly and welcoming. This individual makes you feel rite at home. He does beyond this highest standard while making you feel secure without realising it

I've reviewed this hotel many times. I always have a wonderful stay at Pentahotel. I stayed there on my birthday and the staff brought me a beautiful plate with the name Penta in powdered sugar with a very beautifully sculpted chocolate dog and a birthday card. The best service of any hotel I've ever stayed at... I will continue to return to Pentahotel as my stay is always a pleasure at this hotel. 5 stars to the staff and hotel. Thank you for your incredible hospitality!

Parking cost 25$ a day, breakfast was,t fresh, other very good, location, staff, clean room…

The rooms are very small the bad are horrible.the bathrooms are not draining. Do not eat in the restaurant

Perfect location in Arbat and walking distance to red square. The staff are so friendly, helpful and they speak English really good. I would definitely stay on my next visit to Moscow

We spent 3 nights at Penta and it was perfect for such a quick trip! Everything is very close, tons of restaurants within walking distance. The view from the room was amazing, we could see most of the sights from our window on the 11th floor. The hotel is very trendy and has a gaming room, bar and pool in the lobby-which is great to hang out after a long day of exploring the city. We had standard rooms which were great for this trip, but if we stayed longer I would recommend to book their bigger rooms.

Had the pleasure to stay in this wonderful hotel for 2 days while visiting Moscow. The hotel location is absolutely wonderful, great rooms a bit smaller than expected but it’s worth it and definitely clean and taken care of.

I had one small incident during my stay with the iron board. Unfortunately the staff was not very professional handling the situation.

I have requested for an iron board from the room service and the staff was not able to allocate one as all their iron boards where occupied and when they did actually find one (after 2 hours) I got the iron without the board. I didn’t end up using as I was late for my dinner.

Overall, the staff at that time was unprofessional on the way they handled the situation, but the manager the next day was quick in stepping in and trying to fix the situation.

It was small but a good room, the only problem the room had was the bad smell. Apart from that it was a good stay!
