Angenehme Unterkunft mit hervorragendem Abendessen
Pros:

Personal war sehr freundlich und immer gut gelaunt. Das Abendessen war eine 10/10. Insbesondere der Feuerofen war ein Highlight. Stimmige Einrichtung und harmonisches Farbkonzept. Schöner Welnessbereich mit Sauna. Auch das Frühstück war top und insbesondere das hausgemachte Brot sehr lecker.

Cons:

Bei Booking steht tägliche Reinigung, am nächsten Tag war das Zimmer jedoch nicht gemacht, ohne dass beim Checkin darauf hingewiesen wurde. Viel zu dünnes Toilettenpapier. Steckdosen suboptimal positioniert. Keine Möglichkeit das Fenster in der Tür abzudunkeln, wodurch es bereits früh am Morgen hell wurde. In der Sauna fehlt eine Sanduhr.

Wonderful location, breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. Staff was SO friendly and really made us feel so comfortable upon our arrival. By far the best hotel we've stayed in on our trip in Iceland. Highly recommend!

Pros:

An absolutely exceptional place. The hosts were incredibly attentive, welcoming, and helpful. The apartments are fresh, beautifully renovated, and very comfortable. The dining experience at the restaurant was truly the icing on the cake. We highly recommend this place!

Amazing place - highlight of our trip!
Pros:

Wow - what a great place to stay. Definitely one of the highlights during our 10 day itinerary. The hosts really made us feel like special guests with a handwritten welcome, extra attention during dinner, and great introduction to the property. The dinner was truly exceptional and everyone agreed it was the best during our trip. Three in our family requested vegetarian and the chef came out to introduce himself and make sure what he had planned would work - it was totally amazing. We even received a brief tour of their unique wood oven and watched our meals go into the oven. The natural hot spring, cold pool, and sauna area are equally amazing. Such a treat to stay here!

yes and no!
Pros:

The placement is just amazing, very easy to access and there is a lot to see in the sourroundings. The hot spring and sauna are perfect, and the room nicely decorated with a great coffee machine. The staff and family very friendly and you do feel very welcome. The dinner was top!

Cons:

Compared to other places we stayed in during our 2 weeks trip, it did not meet our expectations based on the pictures and the ratings. Our room had one small window, was very dark and the decoration was very very simple (not like in the pictures). No hotel amenities a part from soap and Elseve Shampoo (which I highly recommend to be replaced by something more local and organic since it is a farm). Since dinner was homemade with local food and truly nice, we were looking forward to a great breakfast. However it was very basic: toast, instead of real bread, no eggs (just sliced long eggs and industrial scrambeld egg), no whole fruits but slices. Of course there was yogurt, cheese etc, but Everything felt a bit cheap and nothing that you would expect from a farm. We stayed in B&B‘s and Country Hotels along the ring roas much cheaper but with a truly nice breakfast.

Ein Bijou (mit Sauna und Hotpot) mit sehr gutem Restaurant. Grosszügig und passend eingerichtet. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Nicht ganz billig, würden es aber auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
