Une bonne soirée de détente dans un très bel endroit
Pros:

Tout l’emplacement avec une vue reposante et dégagée, l’ambiance, les bains chauds et le sauna qui nous attendaient après une journée de visites. Le repas délicieux, les plats cuits au four à bois, le personnel attentif.

Excellent and relaxing stay
Pros:

Great spot along the ring road. The hot tub area was well designed with a sauna, multiple heated sections and a cold plunge. The dinner was excellent and the staff was really kind (the chef made a personal accomodation for us to get a special chocolate dessert we had seen on his instagram previously). Definitely recommend a stay here.

Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return on our next trip to Iceland.
Pros:

The hotel is set in a peaceful and beautiful environment, and the room was very clean and comfortable. It is a family-run property, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even upgraded our room and kindly took us to feed their horses, which was a wonderful experience.
We were very impressed with the quality and taste of the dinner. As we had to leave early the next morning, they thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for us. The hotel also has a hot spa, which was perfect for relaxing before bed.
The location is excellent, very close to the famous Goðafoss waterfall, making it convenient for sightseeing.

The property is beautiful and tucked away just off the main road. We loved the spa facilities, the in room coffee maker, the restaurant, but it’s the people and excellent service that make it a 5 star stay.

Wonderful hotel with sauna and best food in Iceland
Pros:

Wonderful hotel - spacious comfortable rooms nicely designed. The owners on site taking a genuine interest in their guests. The restaurant served the best food we had on our almost 2 weeks in Iceland (lamb shank and cod). Right outside our room was a hot pool and excellent sauna - a wonderful addition to an already great stay. We used the sauna several times. Great location - 35 min to Husavik. We chose the location as it was outside or Húsavík but close enough to do the morning whale watching tour at 9:15 am. A must stay if looking for a quite authentic stay with amazing food and excellent service.

Cons:

Nothing - only perhaps a timer (hour glass - 15 min in sauna)

Peaceful stay in Laugar
Pros:

It was a really nice and calm place. Clean, tidy, peaceful. We ate for dinner at the restaurant and I can say I had the most amazing meal for my entire stay in Iceland.

Cons:

There is really nothing negative to say, maybe just one suggestion - breakfast at 8 is quite late, especially for a place like this, where people have a tight schedule. But they were very nice and prepared a packed breakfast for us.

Tout fut parfait, de l'accueil des jeunes gérants au confort de notre chambre.
Une bonne expérience des bains extérieurs également.
Le repas fut également très bien comme le petit déjeuner.
Je recommande même pour un séjour prolongé dans la région. Ce qui n’était pas notre cas.
