Pros:

This hotel was in an excellent position right by the gates of Shuhe Ancient City. This is a more laid back twin to Lijiang Ancient City. Prior communication was excellent and it was no trouble finding the property. There was sufficient understanding of English to allow everything required to be arranged. We would stay here again, and thoroughly recommend it.

Despite the lack of attendance at reception, I think you will love this place.
Pros:

This hotel provides you with all the comforts you would expect from a quality establishment.
It is a fabulous location in one of the most beautiful towns in the world, surrounded by restaurants and cafes.
Our room on ground floor was beautifully designed. We had a little office area with a desk and office chair, a lounge area with two sofas, an alcove with wardrobe, separate toilet cubical and a great rain shower, and our own balcony. The bedding was particularly comfortable with two pillows each and a fluffy dunah. There are lots of nice communal areas where you can sit in the gardens, on the verandah or in the open courtyard. There is also a washing machine free to use for the guests.

Cons:

There was usually nobody present at reception. I wanted to report that our shower water was not draining properly. Eventually I messaged the hotel through the Booking.com App. I received an answer, but the problem was not attended to.
Take note that thee is no lift in the building, so if you don't like climbing stairs you should request a ground floor room.

We were pleased with our room and the hotel , the location is in Shuhe Ancient town .
Pros:

I have a very nice room, set up in traditional Chinese style, with a jacuzzi, separate shower, and terrace garden, W did not try the facilitates since we went to Shangrila the same morning. The staff books a private transport to Shangrila on separate fee. We did not come back to the hotel till late at night and that was the only time I walked around Shuhe Ancient town where the hotel was. The winter was cold and my husband stayed in the hotel room only.

Cons:

The bathroom does not have a proper exhauster, which might be due to its connection with other rooms. It is a little uncomfortable entering this beautiful, quite modern bathroom and smelling the bad odour
There were lots of bucks around the room, we could not see but we felt irritated with our skin. It needs proper disinfectant for the air or buck spray.

Pros:

The place is done with style, everything is from wood. The internal garden is amazing. Room was very clean, facilities are a bit old but everything worked. Location is great.

Pros:

Room is very large and comfortable. It was just a bit cold. Receptionist was very helpful for helping us to caĺl taxi including helped me to ship the parcel domestic and arranged to bring the phone what I forgot it there. Location is good for shopping around the old town.

Cons:

Room is a bit cold and smell of cigarettes.

Perfect stay for an unforgettable holiday.
Pros:

Location is amazing. Free transfer from train station with 7seater van. Spacious traditional style room with bathtub, floor heating and bed heating. Helpful staff organized the day trip to snow mountain cable car.
