A wonderful stay in a perfect location with delicious breakfast and everything I needed.
Pros:

Absolutely loved the location—just a short walk to the city center, with plenty of restaurants, cozy cafés, and the port right nearby. Breakfast was a delight every morning, with a wonderful variety and a fresh selection of pastries and treats that changed daily. A perfect stay!

Cons:

There are few cats in front of the entrance which some times even though I like pets the smell was quite intense however I did not bother at all as everything else was perfect.

Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.
Pros:

Hübsches kleine Hotel. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Super Frühstück. Für Katzenfreunde ein Paradies. Sehr ruhig gelegen, alles sehr gut zu Füß erreichbar.

Im ganzen Haus roch es nach Zigarettenrauch. Die Betten waren katastrophal schlecht. Alles ziemlich abgewohnt.

Etablissement parfait pour une étape courte comme dans notre cas
Pros:

Etablissement de qualité, quoique au charme un peu suranné. Situé un peu en hauteur, il limite les bruits de la vie nocturne de Skiatos tout en restant pas trop éloigné du front de mer. La responsable de l'hôtel est une personne très accueillante et disponible. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et varié. Adresse à recommander pour les personnes qui préfèrent une atmosphère familiale à des prestations haut de gamme

Cons:

Les chambres sont sympathiques mais un peu vieillottes avec une salle de douche / toilette basique pour la 1ère des deux chambres où nous avons séjourné (la 2ème était cependant beaucoup plus spacieuse avec des commodités plus en adéquation avec le prix payé).

You need to book a stay at this hotel in your next trip to Skiathos! Our host Fifl was amazing, she upgraded our stay to the beautiful suite on top floor of the hotel with amazing huge balcony and views of the sea and town. She loaded our mini fridge with lots of different drinks 🍺. She really took care of us, felt very personable with us and gave great recommendations to people she knew in town. The included breakfast was also homemade and delicious 😋 our favorite stay of our Greece trip! We will definitely be back ❤️

A legszebb panoráma a szigeten
Pros:

Csodálatos körpanorámás különálló villa. Fofi nappalija és reggelije a századelő eleganciáját juttatta eszünkbe. A reggeli finom volt és minden nap volt valami újdonság. Mindenki kedves és segítőkész, kiemelnénk Irena munkáját, a reggeli felszolgálásában és a takarításban. Fofi csodálatos asszony, amit a macskák mentéséért, ivartalanításáért tesz az példaértékű. A szívem egy kis darabját otthagytam Zsuzsu cicában :D

It was ok for a last minute booking due to a ferry cancellation.
Pros:

The bed was comfortable and it was private. Had cute little swan on the bed made from the towels. Cute decor.

When we arrived, the hostess was quite bothered by a slight mistake I made to the reservation. I had made a reservation for 2 instead of 3. I told them I am sorry and would make up the difference monetarily. She called someone, and it sounded like he was yelling either about us or to her. I felt very uncomfortable. I ordered a deluxe Studio, which stated 1 twin bed, 1 sofa bed, and 1 queen bed. I had planned for my daughter and I to sleep in the queen bed and my other daughter to sleep on the twin bed. It turns out that the room we received only had a Double bed and no twin bed. The woman was quite irritated that she had to make the sofa bed. I felt bad and questioned my request. Then I checked my reservation, and the bed information was listed as I said. After that she was accommodating.

Raňajky veľmi dobré, personál srdečný, človek má pocit, že prišiel na návštevu k rodine. Ak sa na Skiathos vrátime, určite do hotela Mato.

I loved it. I felt very welcomed and would definitely stay again.
Pros:

Fantastic view from the room which was on the top floor overlooking the old port. The staff were very engaging and friendly and the breakfasts were huge. The breakfast room reminded me of an old 1930’s hotel with lots of vintage pieces on display. It was great.

Cons:

It was no problem for me, but the top room is accessed by a small spiral staircase which could be tricky if you had mobility problems - just something to watch for.
There were a great deal of cats around (more than normal for Skiathos) so if you aren’t a cat lover, you may not be so keen on this hotel.
